Yet it's a very real presence that can be seen if you don't blind yourself with prejudice.
[Well?
Let's see you present some evidence for this presence.]
Certainly. First, accept God as your personal lord and saviour. Then, pray and meditate upon God and seek to understand the nature of God. Pray for God's guidance, and then read the bible to see what God has to say to you personally. And then, start observing the world around you, and you will see the evidence of God in other people all around you. Nothing is simpler, and there's no expensive lab costs.
But if you aren't willing to do that, then you are hardly in a position to criticize.

The pink unicorn exist, but he's only visible if you travel around the world 7 times and you can sing every national anthem backwards.
But if you aren't willing to do that, then you are hardly in a position to criticize.
That isn't evidence, that is conformation bias.
Your thinly veiled conversion attempt is full of fail...
Evidence that I am God:
First, accept that I am God, and that I am infallible. Then ask me if I am God.
But if you aren't willing to do that, then you are hardly in a position to criticise.
The "Alice in Wonderland" approach to salvation:
"Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
When I did those things, I got nothing. When I prayed and meditated on my gods, I got answers. I read the Bible. Damn near made me atheist. I think the gods were telling me to find my own faith and own beliefs. And since I did that I can criticize
So we have to accept you're right before you'll give us evidence that you are.
Sorry, it doesn't quite work that way
All I can say is Mark 16:18
Bleach or serpent. Your choice.
But if you aren't willing to do that, then your faith is a lie isn't it?
Now, in order for him to pray to God and mean it, the logic you are missing is that he must believe in God.
Now, if he prayed to God for justification that his God whom he believes in is real, then he is somewhat of a jackass.
Religion, prayer, the whole nine yards...been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
Didn't do shit for me, so I gave it up.
Now go fuck yourself.
I observe the world every day and have yet to see your god.
In fact, the world is one of the largest factors in my decision not to accept your god.
Basically, you fail.
"First, accept that there is no God. Then, listen to reason and learn what is taught to you in school. Hope and plan for your future, and make your life your own. And then, start observing the world around you, and you will see the evidence of science in everything around you. Nothing is simpler, and there's no expensive brainwashing costs.
But if you aren't willing to do that, then you are hardly in a position to criticize."
Man, I'm not even an atheist. These guys' words are way too easy to shift to reverse.
That's bizarre (though comical). Does Darkeforce know what 'evidence' means?
...If you search that forum for Dogs, I think you'll get an answer to that.
Hey, I did that for years.
Now I am who I am because of my personal choices, and not from the fear/love of a higher deity.
"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." -- Philip K. Dick
Even a deceased drug-abusing science fiction author can figure it out.
Certainly. First, accept Allah as your personal lord and savior. Then, pray and meditate upon Allah and seek to understand the nature of Allah. Pray for Allah's guidance, and then read the Qoran to see what Allah has to say to you personally. And then, start observing the world around you, and you will see the evidence of Allah in other people all around you. Nothing is simpler, and there's no expensive lab costs.
But if you aren't willing to do that, then you are hardly in a position to criticize Islam.
@BoxerShorts: I think it's more a sign of some sort of personality-flaw, like narcasism, egocentrism or a nasty case of the Aspergers. Something like "It's impossible to have a different mindset than me, so if I see God in nature, everybody will."
[apoligizes to people who actually have Aspergers Syndrome. I just knows a good share of Aspies (and some I just suspect is), and their all humour-less, arrogant, self-centered dicks. Of course it's the possibility their not "True"/typical Aspies, but simply humour-less, arrogant self-centered dicks (especially those I only suspect)]
Some of us who were once conservative Christians were certainly willing to do those things, but it simply doesn't work. Therefore, doesn't that mean that we are in a position to criticize?
Actually, most Christians would then say that if you're a "real" Christian (tm), then you have absolutely no right to criticize God's will. That's right, just be good sheeple and never question anything or use that brain that God gave you.
So, in other words you have no evidence?
If you were asked to provide evidence for any other thing your reasoning and answer would be very different than this whargarbl. The fact that you need to change the way you think ought to indicate something to you.
FIRST, believe in woo? SECOND, talk to your invisible friend?
Uh...no. Evidence first. You know, like when you actually want to see that used car before you put down the money.
Confused?
