Quote# 32727

Is this weird or what? The lady that brings my farm eggs says for the last 2 weeks her hens have STOPPED laying eggs ! AND the farm lady behind her said HERS have done the same thing....they cannot attribute it to ANYTHING that they know of. What's up? Maybe the Rapture is near?

Correlation does not equal causation! ::headdesk::

dpareja

I don't think that's even correlation; I think it's just a big steaming pile of stupid.

12/22/2007 5:43:53 AM

cyborgtroy

Maybe they don't like laying eggs in the cold.

12/22/2007 5:47:08 AM

It's all your fault...you cursed them.
Heretic!
Witch!
Call the inquisitor!

hehehe

Osiris

Why can't these morons realize that eggs don't magically form and that they take time?

12/22/2007 5:59:49 AM

SSJPunk

Oh noes! Maybe the egg fairy died!

Funny you should mention that, I always thought that Chicken Little would feel right at home at Rapture Ready.

Hah.
My chickens haven't laid eggs in a while, so the rapture must be coming! O NOES11!!!11111!!111!!!
Over-eager, much?

12/22/2007 6:18:08 AM

The Watcher

Yes, well, when you insistently refuse to put a date on the Rapture, and when you can ascribe any event, good, bad, or indifferent to its eventual but ambiguous "coming," I guess you really don't need logic or facts, do you?

12/22/2007 6:31:40 AM

Martha Jones

It's always the rapture! WAAAAH!

12/22/2007 6:34:05 AM

Hellsing

Wait, What? you can't get your morning omelette so the world is about to end? the hell?

Caution: In case of Rapture this nest will be unchickened

?? Are the chickens going, too ??

12/22/2007 7:05:57 AM

Mog

If it weren't for it being posted on an internet forum, I would think that that comment came straight outta 1800.

Which is ironic, because it's all about the Rapture being near...

Rambler

Maybe the Chickens are on strike because their eggs are going to Fundis.

12/22/2007 8:22:11 AM

anti-nonsense

These people think that EVERYTHING is a sign of the Rapture.

If 3 red cars drove past this dink's house in a row she'd probably think THAT was a sign of the Rapture.

Phönix

Maybe... it's winter, and that's why the hens stopped laying. Because that's what hens do in the winter.

12/22/2007 8:44:09 AM

David G

Sure, because it talks about how chickens will stop laying eggs right there in revelations.

12/22/2007 8:47:46 AM

Or maybe they are not experts in biology. Girl, most hens in the world, as far as I'm concerned, are giving eggs, so it must be a local infection or something like that.

12/22/2007 9:03:36 AM

Jacob

That must be it.

12/22/2007 9:03:48 AM

Freboy

The sun will be blackened, locusts will devour the crops, diseases will reap countless lives... and hens will stop laying eggs...

12/22/2007 9:33:39 AM

King James also

Perhaps your chickens know more about the end of the world than your pastor.

12/22/2007 9:54:09 AM

Aw gee, not again.

Correlation does not equal causation, but there's not even anything to correlate here! The hens have stopped laying eggs. It has been known to happen. I'd be more inclined to think the Rapture was near if they started laying eggs that hatched into flying monkeys with Uzis.

Vampirehummingbird

Any poultry farmer will tell you that the birds stop laying because the days are getting shorter. That's why modern egg producers keep their poultry houses well lit into the evenings.

these people are so SAD!

I rather wish they'd off themselves and bother god f2f
