People are gay cause they are scared of reality. In reality no-one is gay, but men and women are scared of many things - one being the opposite sex... So you could say that gays aren't actually gay, they are just really really scared of the opposite sex. They deal with this by making up that they don't like the opposite sex, and they try to prove this by going to the extreme of sleeping with the same sex. So gays aren't gay they are just scaredy cats

Then how come a lot of women have a bunch of gay friends? oh shi-
Kinda throws out your little argument there, doesn't it?
But most gay people aren't afraid of the opposite sex, per se.
They don't want to fuck anyone of the opposite sex, is all. And no one, gay or straight, wants to do this Cameron fellow. (Or lady. Whatever).
People are homophobes cause they are scared of reality. In reality no-one is homophobic, but men and women are scared of many things - one being people who are attracted to the same sex... So you could say that homophobes aren't actually homophobes, they are just really really scared of people who are attracted to the same sex. They deal with this by making up lies about people who are attracted to the same sex, and they try to prove this by going to the extreme of repeating those lies about people who sleep with the same sex over and over again. So homophobes aren't homophobic they are just scaredy cats
Hey, that actually makes sense.
Cameron Theory: "People are gay cause they are scared of reality".
In other words, they are scared of the reality that they are scared of the opposite sex.
Solution: Have sex with other people who are also afraid of the opposite sex.
Example:
Doug- "Hi, I don't know about you, but I'm scared of women. They're damn sexy, but I just don't know what to say to them.
Cameron- "I know how you feel. I want to approach a woman, but they're so scary.
Doug- "Hey, I know! Lets pretend to be gay! I'm in no way attracted to you, but let's have lots of sex and not even bother with women."
Cameron- "Oh my God, our plan is flawless!"
<High five>
As antisocial as I am, and as uncomfortable with girls as I also am, I still do not favour men.
Though I suppose I couldn't refer to either of those things as 'fears' but still...
If he looked at his own post he'd notice one flaw that reduces his entire argument to rubble (and that is without actually bothering with the contents of the post).
"they are just really really scared of the opposite sex"
"They deal with this by making up that they don't like the opposite sex"
Isn't that natural? I mean, if you are really scared of something you don't like it. What did he expect? that someone who is scared of spiders will keep a tarantula in his bedroom because he secretly likes spiders?
Ok, if they're scared of the opposite sex, why do they have normal platonic friendship relationships with them?. And why some of them take so much time in coming out the closet and even fake dates with people of the other sex to deny their condition?
And you know this, how? Personal experience?
Or have you carried out exhaustive research based on impeccable methodology? So let us see your work and how your reached this conclusion.
Or perhaps it is just something that you feel deep within your own suppressed psyche?
Or perhaps you are just talking BS.
"People are fundie cause they are scared of reality.
In reality no-one is fundie, but people are scared
of many things - one being reality... So yfundie, they are just
really really scared of the reality. They deal with
this by making up that there is a giant man with a long white beard who lives on clouds,
and they try to prove this by going to the extreme
of killing those who disagree with them. So fundies aren't fundie
they are just scaredy cats"
Fixed.
Oh, we're doing armchair psychology now?
Alright.
I always had the idea that most gays are more or less bi-sexual so generally, it would be a lot less for a gay to try straight sex than for a straight to try gay.
Wanna debate young earth now?
I wonder how this explains bisexuality.
But fundies often seem to be scared of reality, like all that pesky evidence for common descent and an old earth.
I think that Cameron L. may have a point. I was arrested on a "cruelty to animals" charge once, which in my mind was entirely unjustified. As I tried explaining to the judge, its not so much that I am into cats. I'm just afraid of dogs. The system can be so uncaring.
Wow...such a stunning, and thorough look into the human psyche. How have you not been lauded by your peers as a revolutionary in your field? It boggles your mind because people seek same sex relationships because they actually LOVE the other person, doesn't it?
People are fundies because they are scared of reality. In reality there is no invisible sky daddy that created the world in 6 days 6000 years ago, and no magic happyland in the sky to which all the fundies will be whisked to one day soon, but men and woman are scared of many things - one being facing reality. So you could say that the fundie people are just really really scared of reality. They deal with this by making up stories about their invisible sky daddy and how all of modern science is wrong, and they try to prove this by buying degree-mill degrees and pretending to be scientists. So fundies are just scardy cats.
Fixed!
Congratulations, #349419 ! You finally figured out how to type a coherent sentence.
I'm actually getting teary-eyed over here. I'm so proud of you.
Aww, how cute. How's the Phelps lawsuit going, anyway?
It's great fun when morons get owned, isn't it?
"People are green-eyed cause they are scared of reality."
That makes just as much sense as your drivel, Cameron.
Yeah, because being in love with a person of the same gender, is so much more frightening than being hated, villified, beaten up and killed by homophobic bigots. You do know that love and attraction is what it's all about, the sex is just a side-effect, right?
How do you know all this? Is there something you want to tell us, Cameron?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
