[Except you are ignoring the fact that anyone, gay or straight, can contract and die of an STD. The fact is, a monogamous gay couple have exactly the same chance of dieing from an STD as a monogamous straight couple. So, clearly that is not an argument against homosexuality.]
Unfortunately, homosexuals usually have multiple partners
prior to settling down with one.

Like straight people!!!!,how do you think syphillis was spread?, and incidentally, lesbians are more monogamous and healthy than most heterosexual men. STD are highly contracted if the person is promiscous. With whom, it´s not something nature cares about.
ryan, that's actually not true. Homosexuals, generally speaking, are no more promiscuous than heterosexuals.
And most heterosexuals have more than one sexual partner in their life, too. Especially straight teenage males. They're like crazed monkeys, really.

And heterosexuals don't?
Although homosexuals are normally just as promiscuous (or not) as normal people, it does seem to be more prevalent among the homsexual community. I remember the one time I was unfortunate enough to watch an episode of "Queer as Folk", and one of the characters says to his friend "...I'm Positive..." And he knew immediately what he meant by it (HIV+). I wouldn't have fucking known.
I ain't saying homosexuality is immoral or bad, I believe "Do what you want as long as you don't infringe on other people's freedom of choice as well". But it does seem to be a much larger issue in the gay community than in the straight community.
The gay MALE community, John.
Q: What does a lesbian bring on her 2nd date?
A; Her U-Haul.
Q: What does a gay man bring on his 2nd date?
A: What 2nd date?
Become Bisexual. You can give in to greed (bating for both sides) and lust all at once.
Lets all give into sin, and pie, lots of pie. You like pie i like pie.
I'm a gay male. I have had multiple partners in my life. I have never had an STD and I am HIV negative. When I did most of my sleeping around it was the 80's and most of my straight friends were sleeping around as much as I was.
While there may be some validity to the comment regarding more promiscuity in the gay community, you do not indicate why that may be. If straight people grew up without acceptance for their sexual orientation, and no chance of even considering marriage the shoe would be on the other foot. When a societal group is treated as second class citizens, it is more likely that they will not honor societal norms as much as the "first class" citizens.
BUT really, your objection to homosexuality has absolutely nothing to do with promiscuity or diseases. You're just looking for a socially acceptable way of saying you hate gays. Just say it - nobody really gives a shit anyway.
Serial Monogomy is now the standard, not the exception for dating and sexual relationships. It allows one to find a sexual partner that fits them without getting stuck in an unsatisfying relationship.
The average number of sexual partners oer person...about three in a lifetime.
As long as proper sexual screenings and precautions are taken... everything will be fine.
Confused?
