[Replying to 'miraculous anecdotes aren't evidence'] Show my your documented evidence that anecdotal storys are worthless. You really need to quit making these unsubstantiated claims if you can not back them up with something.

It works that way? Oh cool!
So, I was just chillin' today, and an ape evolved into a man in front of me.
Since this anecdote isn't worthless, it must be true.
Ok, this one is enough to make one's head explode. Total self contradiction. It equates to "show me non-anecdotal evidence that anecdotal evidence is invalid" ... Ummm, excuse me... but if anecdotal evidence is valid, why would you need "documented" (non-anecdotal) evidence to show anything, and why would a claim be "unsubstantiated" with out it!... lol
If anecdotes were evidence, this site would be proof-positive that Christians in general are mentally retarded bigots.
I for one wouldn't make such a leap, John, but you're free to draw your own conclusions.

Nomination for the "you first" award.
Hm... it makes sense in that he's challenging us to hold ourselves to the same standards as we're holding him; even though he himself doesn't hold those standards. Kind of like how we might mock him for disobeying a biblical law, even though we wouldn't necessarily obey it ourselves.
Regardless, it's a simple matter; just find a list of standards used by a scientific journal or something. There should be something about what constitutes acceptable evidence.

Okay, JohnArse7. Find for me just one species of snake that that still possesses the ability to speak . [/smartarse]
It's okay, I can wait...!
Moral: You fundies really need to quit making these unsubstantiated claims if you can not back them up with something. Other than a book of fairytales.

I heard lots of people say that they relied on anecdotal evidence once and got let down. So if you think anecdotes are evidence, then this is anecdotal evidence that they aren't.
Mind you, that also works in reverse...
