[Has anyone here ever heard of an atheist damaging a christian's car?]
Rather sure it happens daily. Ever heard of carjackings? I'm reasonably certain they aren't committed by devout Christians.
Not all atheists are the moral bunch we find here. Many are the worst criminals in society.

First, why?
Second, the world isn't divided into devout christians and atheists. You have members of all other religions, and less-than-devout christians.

Yes.

Daily? Wordwide or in your neighbourhood?

Unless there are evil liberal paganistic witches inside to rape and burn. Seriously, some devout christians kill their kids because "god told them so", what would stop them from carjacking?

Very true, some are bastards, just like religious folks come in nice sane people and complete bastards (and ofcourse the shades in between)
Many are the worst criminals in society.
Proof please.
Johnny Cash (best singer in the world in my book)
Drug user and devout Christian.
That said, he faced his demons with utmost dignity and for that he gets my respect. I only pick him out because unlike this poster, he didn't hide from what he did. He faced up to it.
I think the most insulting idea of fundies - yes, the very worst one - is that, without their Christian God, morality would not exist. Everyone who thus does not believe in their Christian God must thus be a murdering rapist savage, because they don't have any religion to keep them "good." (Note that the belief that it's only their Christian God that keeps them from being immoral swine won't keep them from being self-righteous about their own morality.)
See, atheists don't NEED religion to be moral. We make choices that benefit others because we have a legitimate concern for humankind, not because we're afraid some giant sky daddy will send us to hell if we don't. In my book, that would make us *more* moral, although I'm not going to turn this into some sort of morality pissing contests (I'm not saying there aren't moral Christians, too).
I think fundamentalism preaches hate, and that's why the Christians-to-atheists-in-prison ratio is so high. (Yes, fundamentalists are in the minority, but so are prisoners.) It's easier to bash a gay/woman's/black's head in when your religion reaffirms your prejudices (or, indeed, creates them in the first place).
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
