Proverbs 30;14
There is a generation whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men
my friend found this in the bible sounds like a vampire to me

And the next verse, (Proverbs 30:15) starts:
'The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give.'
So it sounds like worms can talk, too.
I assume your 'friend' made it all the way to third grade, and can actually read the bible (with some help, of course). That must be why you trust his stories about what he's read...
See if he can read a little bit more one day, then you'll know two things!
Okay, that accounts for the Nosferatu. But what about the Brujah, the Ventrue, and all the other clans?

I once read of a culture (I have NO idea from where or when anymore) that filed their teeth to sharp points.
Gangs of New York , by Herbert Asbury mentions it among Irish gangs. In the Martin Scorsese movie Hellcat Maggie(?) is shown with sharpened teeth she uses to bite off ears.

But no mention of consuming blood, aversion to garlic, crucifixes, silver, running water, or sunlight being lethal to them (although in the original Bram Stoker novel, Dracula could go out during the day, his powers were lessened)?
If it isn't exactly described in Scripture, it isn't so.
Paraphrasing for Jebus much, Bleedingvines?

"They target whoever the hell they feel like, for they are vampires and ultimatly sexier than you."
Like Moka in "Rosario to Vampire" (especially when her 'rosary' is removed and she turns into her hyper-powerful vampire form). Or cute like Hazuki/Luna in "Tsukuyomi - Moon Phase".
Confused?
