It's sad when a professing woman calls "loving", "gracious", "merciful", and "wise" the act of taking away women's rights to lead in certain capacities.

It's still a burden, just as any role of leadership is a burden, at least for those who are trying to be good leaders and help the people who follow them. But whether taking the duty seriously or not, privileges also come with the role, and this is the real reason that a group of men 2000 years ago said this position is only for men, because it removes half of their competition.
It's sad when a woman thinks it's fine to exempt women from authority, to treat them as weaklings, children.

So, women have free will and thus can choose to become pastors, but this god would prevent them from exercising said free will? And why would that be? The one reference that comes to mind on the subject is not from Jesus, but from Paul. Once again, people call themselves chritians while only making references to one man, who is not Jesus.
What you mean is, lovingly and graciously exempting women from the burden of any role other than child care, cook, and housekeeper.
