"What buried these creatures so quickly and preserved them for thousands of years?"
Well, the fossilization process is what preserved them. As to quickly buried, if it was a global flood that made ALL fossils, how did it sort them out so carefully?
"A massive flood would do that."
Yeah, but the 'global flood' is not the only way to have done this. So it's not proof of a global flood.
"No one has proved it didn’t happen"
Kind of a cheap effort to pretend that a total lack of evidence is equal to positive proof, what?
"and many ancient cultures recorded stories of a flood that wiped out mankind."
Except for the ancient inland cultures that say the previous paradise was wiped out by fire...Or the Egyptians who profited from the Nile flooding, who did not have a destructive Flood myth... Odd, that.
"The resistance to such a flood explanation is not based on science, just prejudice. It fits the evidence."
No, no, no. It fits the LACK of evidence, that's what you said up above. No one has disproved it. That's a lack of evidence, not fitting.
But, yes, we HAVE disproved the global flood. Stop reading only creationist websites.
