Quote# 142769

Science is the most powerful religion created against God, to manipulate and implement false doctrines, in which false gods are worshipped such as, heliocentrism, evolutionism, big bang, gravity, astronomy... and in which the term "theory" is equivalent to the word #faith.

I really need convincing that I worship any science (which is, by the way is simply a method by which we test observed events) but especially gravity. Well, I suppose I do to the extent of not jumping off a 30 story building to see if it works.

But if you don't accept gravity, give it a try.

So...where is the 501c3 for Science?

No, we have the evidence, so we don't need faith.
Moron doesn't know the scientific meaning of "theory", part 83746859.

And the kicker is, science works. The day the OP manages to fly from Paris to Brussels through sheer power of faith, I will reconsider.

"When I use the words 'science' or 'religion' or 'theory' or 'faith'," La Verdad nos hará Libres said, in rather a scornful tone, "they mean just what I choose them to mean—neither more nor less."

Did he just say gravity is a religion? Is this a poe?

Science is the most powerful religion created against God

...the OP said using a Digital Computer: as a result of the developments by gay Atheist Alan Turing.

You'd better follow the sage advice of the venerable Quantum Mechanic: Stop Using Computers.

Dr. Razark

Ok, fine. For the sake of argument, science is a religion.
It was created for the sole purpose of opposing your god.
We worship Satan through the false doctrines of evolution, climate change, spherical earth, and the germ theory of disease.
We build temples to education, such as schools, universities, libraries, observatories, and particle colliders.
Our saints are Hawking and Dawkins and Hitchens and Darwin.
We revel in our evilness and sin for the sake of sinning.
We deny your god (who we claim not to believe in, but secretly do) for the sheer, utter joy of denying it.

And even with all this being true,

Doubting Thomas

Sorry, I laugh any time I hear that there are people who actually believe the entire universe revolves around the earth. If you're going to go that far, why not also be flat earthers? And to say that gravity doesn't exist? WTF???

@Dr. Razark

Even further, since science works, and much of what science has accomplished would once have been considered miraculous, that means scientists, doctors, and engineers are regularly performing miracles. And as every "miracle" performed by various faith healers is provably a scam, while scientific miracles are backed up by historical and repeated success. So if science really is a religion, it's one much more provably backed by the universe and real deity than any religion dependent on prayer.

Science sent us pictures from Mars. Let's see your faith do that.
