Quote# 142755

Suicide is an act of rebellion

Modern society is against suicide, because they want loyal wageslaves to produce goods and services for Chads and Stacies. They want you to be optimistic about the future; "things will get better," "you'll make it," "try hard and succeed." Then wham, you're 40-50 and your life is still shit and you wagecucked for Chad and Stacy for 20+ years. This is why suicides become high for the 40s-50s age group, because they realize life is ogre.

Suicide is simply dropping out of the system. My parents and society gave me a shit life. I simply don't want to live it. Society has propaganda tools like religion and optimism to keep you going and wagecucking till you're old. If all those wagecucks you see in retail stores and Amazon warehouses just decide to end their shit lives, it would be sorta of a rebellion. No more goods/services for Chad and Stacy. Society would have to restructure instead of just using propaganda to keep you going.

One suicide is meaningless as an act of rebellion against society. Even a martyr cult with such a motivation is just a blip which would mostly be forgotten. It would require a very large-scale mass suicide to be a meaningful rebellion. Even if all of them were willing, I doubt incels have the anywhere near the numbers for that.

I'm sure there are some who've chosen suicide as acts of rebellion, but it won't generate the change you want. Maybe you should try to create your own happiness instead of bitching about how good other people have it and acting like a sad sack.

Dude, if it was about wages and jobs, we would ve encouraging your suicide. Fewer workers means higher wages for the rest of us.
But, hey, you gotta do you.

"things will get better," "you'll make it," "try hard and succeed."

...then *BLAM!*.

Things will get better?! You'll make your 'Manbaby Uprising' happen?!

And suck, tryhard.

I refer to the above inferior subhuman: who only 'Ascended' when things got worse after his 'Thousand Year Society' barely lasted twelve, and proved he was the ultimate Tryhard: and he still couldn't get his dick wet.

It was over for you lot before you were born.

@Jonathon

Confirmed case of suicide, sort of as an act of rebellion, certainly as a form of trying to send a message here. Though I think by now most people in media and internet saturated area know this one, anyway. Warning, the photographer got an amazingly good photo of this monk mid-act, and frankly I'd have never wanted to piss this monk off.

Normally I'm all for talking someone out of suicide since you don't want someone to end their life when they have a future. Incels, on the other hand...

No, modern society is against suicide as that is a waste and a tragedy. Modern society is dangerously overpopulated and doesn't need any more "loyal wage-slaves".
So, Chads and Stacies make up the richest 10 percent of the population?

Things often do get better. 20 years ago I worked at McD's, barely making ends meet. Now I have a white-collar-job in one of the largest conglomerates in the world, live in a fairly large house, own a nice car, and hubby and me just treated our whole family (22 people) to a very nice three-course dinner at a spa-hotell on the closest thing Sweden has to a riviera; the West Coast, as a celebration of hubby's 50's birthday. Wham, indeed!

How did your family give you a shit life? Did they forget to get you an education? Forget to teach you some manners? Beat you senseless every night? Rape you? Society isn't supposed to GIVE you anything. YOU are a part of society, and if you contribute, you'll get something back. That's SOMETHING, mind; not SOMEONE. (Women are people, regardless of what you feel.)

Ya know, quite a lot of people just want a job where they go there, do the job, go home and not think about the job while they're not there. If it pay's enough for they to have a home, a car, some vacation now and then, have some fun hobbies, eat good food, that's all they need.

Amazon will probably soon have all robots anyway, so they will only be glad to not have to sack anyone...

The harsh truth is society doesn't care whether you live or die. We're overpopulated to the point where we don't need more "wage slaves."

Dizzy Dream

When I attempted suicide, I just wanted to escape the icy darkness in my head. I wanted to escape the constant threat of sanctions thanks to failing a Worthless Crap Assessment. I wanted to stop crying and vomiting due to the stress of having to screen out the many jobs I could not do due to having audio processing skills, regular absences and panic attacks. I wanted to stop the fears of homelessness, the fears of my mother dying and my guilt over my brother having to care for me.

This, incels, is what a real mental health crisis looks like. Not "I'm going to make a pointless stand because my life didn't turn out like a teen rom com."

(Fortunately I passed the second WCA because I mentioned my suicide attempt and overall deterioration in my mental health, but having it felt like the government was taking a baseball bat to me just to make sure I was still broken.)
