i was once told, by my youth pastor, that when someone denies God's exsistance, its like their denying the law of gravity. like, saying that (an example from him) 1 could fly if they jumped off of a building and flapped their arms like a bird.
if we did evolve from a life form that wasnt/isnt as capable to adape to new things, im thinking that this current generation (in the human population) might have tiny bumps under their skin, developing wings. (a type of evolution that was once believed to be true. idk if it still is believed but look it up. its there. like that guy - 4get his name - that believed giraffes' necks were once short) has anyone seen a missing link and can proove it? ex: the abonidble snowman (aka: the yeti) -i only saw part of the episode but i think i know how it ends. jeff corwin: relm of the yeti- the yeti ~ a bear (i 4get the name of the kind. it can stand on 2 and take a few steps) or a hairy person that walks mainly on 4 legs (or limbs) and doesnt speak human.

Humans evolving wings? Shouldn't we redevelop almost our entire muscle lay out for that to work?
Speaking "human"? What is the :human" language? Latin or Greek?
But giraffes did, at sometime in th past , have shorter necks. At least that is true.
Notice how they always seem to say "My pastor told me X" and never anything along the lines of "Looking at all the facts, I have deduced Y".
BTW, I believe you're thinking of LaMarck. And no, he's been thoroughly discredited. The last bit of the post, I can't even read.
Tell that youth pastor he's full of shit. One can prove gravity, not god. Or yetis for that matter.
Why are you saying that we evolved from a life form that wasn't capable to adapt, and then say that we may be developing wings?
Evolution doesn't work that way. One generation wouldn't suddenly sprout wings, it would take thousands and thousands of years. Also I think we probably wouldv'e had them before now. You see, wings among birds and some gliding mammals are like the fins on most fish. The 'Arms' ARE the wings. You seem to be thinking of angels and demons who are portrayed as having wings coming out of their backs. This is highly unlikely since the body is not set up that way. Perhaps you think that angels and demons were insects at one time? The front legs/arms moved to the back and became wings? Of course most insects that have wings still have their six legs, unless you follow the bible which claims they have four.
In short, you need to look up the works of Darwin and others and get a grasp of the subject you are trying to dissect.
And how is it you 'know how it ends' if you didn't see the end? Is this some sort of jedi mind trick?
Finally, please capitalize all first words, and proper nouns, learn how to spell 'for' and stop placing everything in parentheses.
"i was once told, by my youth pastor,"
There's your problem. Your youth pastor lied to you, and you fell for it.

Well your youth pastor is full of shit. Birds do not deny gravity. He does not understand evolution either. You probably should find another source of information on these topics
Ministers, youth pastors, Sunday School teachers, etc., are always spouting "facts" to their particular group of listeners that have no basis in reality and are urban legends or outright lies. Since it is being told in religious circles, then it must be true. Even in scientific circles, the same thing happens. You just need to stop believing everything that is told to you and just do a little bit of simple research to find the truth.

Let’s admit it fellow fstdt posters: we’ve all noticed the little bumps each of us are feeling on our foreheads. (/snark)
Missing link? Just look in a mirror.
And please, provide proof of God that's as strong as the proof for gravity. Last I checked, people could deny God without meeting a grizzly end when the sidewalk said hello.
"i was once told, by my youth pastor, that when someone denies God's exsistance, its like their denying the law of gravity. like, saying that (an example from him) 1 could fly if they jumped off of a building and flapped their arms like a bird."
Your youth pastor apparently isn't very good at analogies. We have an observable, testable, well-established scientific law on the one hand, and an untestable hypothesis on the other.
ETA: apparently I had already responded to this one. Oh, well, too much free time today.

Yeah, it's just like that except it's entirely different. Gravity has been scientifically studied. It behaves in predictable ways. God is imaginary. Imaginary things cannot be scientifically studied except for the sociological and psychological effects they may have.
"if we did evolve from a life form that wasnt/isnt as capable to adape to new things, im thinking that this current generation (in the human population) might have tiny bumps under their skin, developing wings."
You're right, that's what YOU are thinking. People with a better grip on how evolution works are not thinking that.
"(a type of evolution that was once believed to be true."
So, are you saying that you believe in evolution, but only a discredited branch of evolutionary theory?
"idk if it still is believed but look it up. its there."
Why, are you too lazy?
"like that guy - 4get his name - that believed giraffes' necks were once short) has anyone seen a missing link and can proove it?"
Could be? What's your point?
"ex: the abonidble snowman (aka: the yeti) -i only saw part of the episode but i think i know how it ends. jeff corwin: relm of the yeti- the yeti ~ a bear (i 4get the name of the kind. it can stand on 2 and take a few steps) or a hairy person that walks mainly on 4 legs (or limbs) and doesnt speak human."
Your spelling is "abonidble."
"Human" isn't a language.
Plus, your sentences are so jumbled and filled with idk and i 4get qualifiers that I can't understand what you're talking about.
"when someone denies God's exsistance, its like [...] saying that (an example from him) 1 could fly if they jumped off of a building and flapped their arms like a bird."
Why don't you go and try out both? I bet you'll see, albeit briefly, that they aren't really same.
By the way: "abonidble"?
There is a little difference. You have no way but to believe in gravity because if you fall from a 6th store in a New York building, you´re not likely to survive, regardless of your "beliefs". However, if a Christian believes in God, they must demonstrate, through their own conscience and good works, its existence because God is not a buddy who talks to you like you and I. If you commit genocide, rape, insult and impose your faith, honestly, nobody is going to believe in it.
We evolved from a life-form that was perfectly adapted to its niche in Nature. Then Nature changed and the life-form evolved into us.
We are all links between what was and what will come, stupid. None of us are missing.
How do you speak human? What does it sound like?
To deny God's existence, you must first believe that he exists. We agnostics and atheists find no evidence of any gods. If you can provide tangible evidence for his existence, then we'll consider it. Until then we reserve judgment.
Are you denying the existence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Can you then fly too, Agaro?
"i was once told, by my youth pastor, that when someone denies God's exsistance, its like their denying the law of gravity."
Gravity ensures that I don't float away into space. Thus gravity is vital for my existence. Now, how is an invisible sky fairy similarly vital for my existence...?
"like, saying that (an example from him) 1 could fly if they jumped off of a building and flapped their arms like a bird."
'Faith' can move mountains, amirite? If your 'faith' is everything it's cracked up to be, and your 'God' protects you, then you walk off the ledge of a tall building then. Your invisible sky fairy will ensure you stay there in mid air, and ultimately gently bring you down to the ground safely.
Amirite?
Confused?
