(=What is the hebrew word for Homosexual, and what is its true translation?=)
Yet another attempt to employ rhetorical tricks to get around the Bible's prohibitions against homosexuality???
The relevant verse in Leviticus doesn't use "homsexual" or "pedophilia" in its prohibition against homosexual behavior.
It simply says that a man is not to have relations with another man, as with a woman. Simple as that.
The New Testament gives us nothing to replace or supercede that teaching, as it does with Old Testament teachings on other issues.
In fact, the NT clarifies that prohibition even further by clearly stating that it applies to women sleeping with women as well. See Romans 1.

Why is it that the go-to blanket verses for anything that Christians find immoral is Romans 1?
Don't drink: Romans 1
Don't gamble: Romans 1
Don't believe in my god: Romans 1
By the way Julia, there is nothing in Romans 1 about women sleeping with women.

Possible movie idea?
A group of scientists mangage to invent a time machine. It's used to send an expedition back to Old Testament time Middle East.
The video material the expedition brings back includes hidden-cam footage of a scholar telling someone that this Leviticus verse means just what it says: it's a prohibition ONLY against sexual acts between male persons!
Sexual acts between females doesn't involve a man sticking his dick in, so it's "not really sex" and therefore there's no reason to prohibit it.
Sounds like I'm fine. I would never have relations with another man as with a woman, because I would never sleep with a woman.
Ah, but I would be platonic friends with a woman, so I guess I'm not allowed that sort of relationship with a man? According to the most literal interpretation of this statement, I must exclusively bone down with dudes.
As most pedophiles are heterosexual males, it makes perfect sense not to use the word "pedophilia" when speaking about homosexuality, dearie.
A relationship with a man is not like a relationship with a woman. Similar, yes. The same, no.
So, you're a Paulist, dearie, not a Christian?
There is nothing "clearly" about the Bible, honey.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
To me it sounds like God MADE them do these things. HE is to blame for their actions, but he punishes THEM. Is he a sadist, or what?
"dishonour their own bodies" can be as simple as extra-marital sex...
"natural use of woman"? Women are human beings, not objects to be used!
But if you notice it says nothing about a woman laying with another woman as with a man. So I guess lesbianism is OK.
But I thought the OT doesn't apply any more since Jesus died on the cross. Or does that only apply to inconvenient rules like not working on the Sabbath, eating shellfish or dairy & meat products together, and weekly animal sacrifices?
Why should we care what that Book of Fairytales says?
However, since you're trying to use it to bash some friends of mine, how many of the other Jewish Mitzvot do you follow? Yeah, thought so. As for Romans, here's the text:
Romans 1:26
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
That could be lesbianism, probably, but it doesn't actually prohibit it. It sounds more like that old misogynist Paul, like the old lesbian joke, couldn't stand seeing another woman trying to do a man's job.
In Romans I Paul is talking about Pagans.
Romans 1:22-23 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
Romans 1:26-27 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.
A couple of points here. First, if someone is gay their "natural sexual relations" would be with others of the same sex. Relations with the opposite sex would be unnatural.
Second, notice the "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts." Sounds to me like because they were Pagans this God fellow made them engage in shameful and unnatural acts. So who's the actual villein here?
Confused?
