Yup, media is full of anti-crime message. Sane people want to protect children against predators.
It doesn't matter if the kids are attracted to adults, silly-nilly. Children who are attracted to driving cars or drinking alcohol are not allowed to do that either; they simply have to wait until they reach the legal limit. As we're only children for about 15-20 years, it's a pretty short time to wait, if it spares a lifetime of trauma and/or regrets.
Most of those preteen girls probably like "older guys" as in 16-18-year-olds, not 30-50-year-olds. And all of them probably picture cozy rose-lit times with hugging and kissing, rather than sweaty fumbling groping and intercourse.
Anti-male? What about preteen boys liking older women? If it's just a question of a witch-hunt, the pressure ought to be stronger on the women; it usually is in witch-hunts.
Men commit a staggering majority of all abuse and rapes; that's why they are seen as abusers and rapists. You and your fellow men have a chance to change this fact, by showing that ordinary men take a firm stance against abusers and rapists, that you defend women and children against predators, that you tell the "cool dude" off for telling a sexist joke or guffawing at a sexist joke.
Again, children are not allowed to do a lot of things, but have to wait until they are old enough. If it's really a question of relationships built on love and attraction, you can wait five to ten years. I've been together with my now husband for 30 years, and contemplate another happy 30 years, at least. A mere 10 years is nothing in the face of life-long happiness, surely. Why not get a doctor's degree or become a civil engineer in the meantime? Then you'll be able to provide well for your significant other when she's old enough to move out of her parents' home.

That's partly my point. The creeps want the girls now, as the kids don't know any better, and the creeps wants children in general, not a specific human being for her/his unique qualities. Once she's older, she'll see him for the creep he is, and he will no longer like her, as she's not a child any more.
If it really IS love, a few years' wait might strengthen the relationship.
