I have long maintained that people who consider homosexuality to be linked with paedophilia are part of the problem.

Pedophiles are attracted to children just because they're children. They often don't seem to care about the child's gender, because it's not the gender their attracted to, it's their youth.

Nope. Homosexuality is attraction to people of the same gender. Pedophilia is attraction to children, regardless of gender.
