You're about a thousand years too late, dearie. Cultures and nations have been mixing pretty much since the days of the ancient Greeks and Romans, at least. During the colonization of the world, people from Europe traveled all over the globe, and took their culture with them to where they were travelling, and took the new cultures back when/if they returned.

There are many different French cultures, just as there a many different Italian cultures. Or are you saying that Oregon culture and Arizona culture are EXACTLY like Ohio culture, Alabama culture AND Main culture? You do know that Europe have about 730 million people, right, with VERY different cultures? From bull-fights and Zorba-dances in the southwest and southeast, to reindeer-herding in the north. Oh, and did you know that Saint Petersburg, Russia, is in Europe?

Sweden, for example, has been influenced by different cultures for at least 400 years. First it was the Dutch during the 1600's, who helped us build canals, then it was the French during the 1700's, the Germans during the 1800's and the English during the 1900's. And, before Luther came with his Ninety-five Theses in 1517, we were of course just as Catholic and influenced by Rome as most other European countries were then. You knew about that, right? Right...? Oh, and around the former turn-of-century (1800-1900), about a million Swedes migrated to the US. They brought THEIR cultures with them, which are now ingrained in parts of US cultures.
