Umm.... Mick really needs to stop calling these "laughs." Because anyone who finds this even mildly amusing has to have a very disturbed mind. Unless, of course, Mick is really satirizing right wing thought and is just a Poe.

Is Mick from New York? If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have heard of her. A quick search suggests that the majority of news outlets reporting on her are from New York state, she's not big news elsewhere.
I mean, if she wins the general election in Novemember, it will be bigger news, but at that point might also be drowned out by lots of equally big news related to the election.
Though even if he's not from New York, I can understand why he's picking on her: If she wins, she'll set the record for youngest Governor, and has openly described herself as a "democratic socialist". Also, being non-white and a woman doesn't help.

Funny how fundies think making sure people can make a living wage and can live decent lives is demonic.
Not just fundies. It's been a core tenet of the Republican Party since Ronald Reagan. Apparently, it's horribly evil to help the poor and downtrodden, because they won't learn that getting out of poverty is just a matter of picking yourself up by your bootstraps!

I don't think they're really worried about her, specifically. I just think they think they can use "SOCIALIST!" as a rallying point for their idiot base. You know, the ones that are now wearing shirts like these:image
