"Tolerance" is an anti-Western and indeed anti-human concept...its a lie.

Tolerance is supposed to be one of the foundational tenets of the United States. Supposed to be...
Anyway, how is that anti-western or anti-human? As far as I know, no one has been killed in the name of tolerance.
However, I do agree that the way Fundies and other conservatards USE the word "tolerance" makes it into a lie.
Well, I can see it's anti-Western - the West being valiantly led by Dubya.
I can see it's anti-human - human nature being pathetically flawed.
A lie, though? A concept can't be a lie, it's not a statement.
@Crosis
The scariest thing about this? He can vote ... and probably does. That's why democracy sucks - to paraphrase Winston Churchill, the only thing it has going for it is that every other type of government we've come up with sucks ten times worse.
Or, as George Bernard Shaw put it, "Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve."
By the way, it's anti-western, but you expect muslims and buddist to be tolerant. Moreover, you expect us to be tolerant on you.
The word is "our", AA. Not "are".
And is that all you can say? The only comebacks you have are "filthy jew", "filthy nigger", or other variations on those themes.
You should get some new insults.
And, for the record, I'm a Spiritualist and couldn't care two shits who I'm descended from. All I know is that we'll all go to the afterlife and we all have the potential to be very happy there, but I think you will have difficulty with it, being so buried in your beliefs that you cannot see that the most important thing is to be kind to your fellow human being and to be as good a person as you can.
And just how so? Diversity is a lie, because the earth is naturally diverse anyway, but it's recently come to mean something along the lines of "people who act and or look different", so yeah, diversity is a lie, but not tolerence. If it weren't for tolerence, you'd probably be praying to the god Jupiter right now.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
