[ on an admitted pedophile working as an elementary school teacher ]
Is there anything unethical with a professor working in college where he is attracted to the students he teaches? Nope, as long as you can control your sexual urges, its not really a big deal. Now parents will definitely feel different and want you removed, but fuck them.

For university professors is is (sadly) almost expected, and I'm sure nearly every large school has a few that pick up a different freshman every year. But an elementary school ...no, you're likely to have a few irate fathers string you up on the playground and leave your carcase there to rot. Move on, Yokhai, move on.
Let's see....
Elementary = 12 years of age or younger
College = 18 years of age or older
Nope...no difference at all.

Which is what you'll be getting a visit from if you continue to think the way you do, Yukky.
And once that knock on the door is heard, you'll be wishing it was Sting: instead of being stung by the Feds.
Honestly I would say the professor can be unethical if he finds his students sexually attractive. Even if we are talking adults (granted FSTDT I know we are not but to his point if you will), bear in mind that it is unethical for the professor to be interested in or engaging in sexual activity with students. Professors from colleges can be fired for it and not only fired for it but they might have issues getting professions with other colleges. Now look at your point. It is children you are attracted to which is sick enough but even if it were all consenting adults I STILL managed to destroy your argument. Stay away from children
Yeah, f**k parents who want to protect their children from sexual predators.
Women and men of college-age are also of having-sex-age. Elementary school-age children are not.
That's the big difference here, asshole. That being said, it's still unethical to be attracted to your students.
What about a male professor who is attracted to the male students he teaches? Is that perhaps a bit icky for ya?
Once again, the difference is CONSENTING ADULTS. Not that it's ethical for a college professor to date one of his students, but at least the student would be an adult and be able to make that choice. A grade school child? Unfortunately easy to groom and manipulate into a sexual situation, and in no way whatsoever can give informed consent to sexual contact.
Confused?
