On numerous occasions I have said that what is required is a conversion of the modern culture. That is a difficult task and requires a different sort of commitment than that of someone fighting for king and country in a military struggle. It calls for dedication, patience and resilience. It is a long, tiresome competition that rewards endurance more than decisive action. Sadly, far too many prefer not to try even attempting so daunting a task with a final goal that is so far out of sight. This causes not a few monarchists to, almost subconsciously, switch priorities and demand that their monarch (if they have one) stand as their champion rather than acting as the champion of their monarch. They look at society and wonder why the monarch does not do something to make it all better. This often leads to disenchantment and frustration and then anger. They begin to actively blame their monarch for the ills of modern society and effectively become republicans by either abandoning their allegiance outright or backing some ideal era from the past or a rival royal line from history that is not involved in modern society, has never been involved and so cannot be blamed for anything but upheld as a pristine, imaginary alternative. Although they could never bring themselves to call themselves republicans, they become effectively that by joining the side of those who wish to see the remaining monarchies of the world pulled down.

Yeah, all those fools demanding you act as you say, instead of acting as you said, eh? It`s why your example of nobility and royalty was oh soo ridiculed in the Polish Empire of old, you expected others to do something you wouldn`t even think of! At least our nobles were prepared to go into the fray at the head of the charge, leading from the front and doing as they said, at least in princciple(of course they also treated their serfs as the field animals not much different from cows, bunch of psychos they were). Yah, only a madman would demand his leader to lead the charg he himself ordered or step first onto the newly constructed bridge... You know what, on the second thought, just don`t try leadership, it`s not for you, humans are not goblins nor skaven and being a coward at the back will not earn you any points with our species. Tell you what, you reactionist asshole, I`m a noble, got my title and all and what your serfish hands just cooked shows us all in a very bad light. I`d never send folks to die if I wasn`t at their head, I`d never establish a certain standard is enough for the poor in my reliables if i had not tasted it myself and concluded it is indeed enough. Hell, guess I would be one of those nobles who would dismantle their own fortunes and lands just to make things even with their people, for thier sake. Now, if an actual noble says that our democratic system is far more equal and humanitarian than what we had, who are you, serf to question me? It`s your paradox, enjoy it. I am a noble with a wish to see it all dismantled as it has been and given unto freedom for all, you are a serf crying over his lost shackles, isnt` that pathetic?

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II: A vehicle driver & mechanic in the ATS during WWII. With that knowledge, she personally supervised the conversion of all the royal vehicles to lead-free petrol. She even personally supervises the content of the Buckingham Palace website, so when a monarch is as tuned in* on modern culture - as proved by this monarch also being on Facebook & Twitter - you know your entire 'argument' has problems.

Especially when the state religion she's head of, the Church of England, use these social media platforms; even their central place of worship Westminster Abbey is a major Pokémon Go gym, just like the MI6 Building.

*- There's an extremely good reason why radio manufacturers Roberts has the coveted 'By Royal Appointment' seal on their products: as Queen Elizabeth II uses their DAB Radios in her palaces to tune in on the BBC's Radio 4 & World Service stations, to keep a-tuned to current events.
