Quote# 137196

Maybe all men should all start wearing dresses to work, maybe do skin darkening as well. Self-identify as a minority woman. Don’t be flamboyant; just business casual, low heels. Do become more womanly emotional in your work life, and join the girl’s gossip groups.

Make it clear that ANY questions, comments, looks or negative job change regarding zer status will result in at least a formal HR complaint. Become an untouchable. Use the women’s room for that morning dump.

That would throw the workplace into silent paralysis. No one could say anything. Women would be caught in their own game. The cross dressing men would gain great privilege, as women enjoy, against pretty much any complaint against them.

Turnabout tests fairness.

Yeah, you do just that and see how well it works for you, kay?

Funny, I've been a woman all my life without finding where that "privilege" resides.

So there's a funny thing about privilege. Everyone has some, and they don't cancel each other out.
Women DO have some privileges that men do not. And men have privileges that women do not - more and better, in most of the world. Problem is that men like this guy are totally blind to their own, and want to take(/away) the ones they don't have.

Like dude, you were given cake and ice cream, stop whining that someone else got a cookie.

"Make it clear that ANY questions, comments, looks or negative job change regarding zer status will result in at least a formal HR complaint." Interesting. I have gone to HR about things before, but that's only been after doing my best to work it out with the person I had the quarrel with. Heck, I'm dealing with something right now that I'm planning on making just an informal word in the ear of my line manager about a colleague, given that the person I'll be talking to them about hasn't quit doing the thing after I supported them through it as best I could, given the context.

And what's this about taking a morning dump in the womens' toilets? You're odd.

That's hilarious.

HR exists as a last resort for solving problems. They tend to ask questions about 'what did you do?' to try to resolve the issue before taking it up the chain of command or out of the chain of command.

it's not meant to be a threat. Kind of makes you a hostile working environment all by your self.

Whether male, female, or a man in drag, if you do a shitty job at work you can still expect to get fired.

I'm sure this brilliant scheme will work perfectly.

I think that's a great idea. Come on, polymuser, let's see how many seconds you will put up with the jeers and abuse from all the guys you now believe are so oppressed.

It would be pretty ironic if this idiot was the victim of a hate-crime on his way to work by one of the other mouthbreathers that share his political party

I would actually like to see all white male Freepers start blacking up and wearing dresses at work.

There was a Tumblrista a while back called “Black Woman Values”, who was a white man who identified as a black woman. This reminds me of him. Horseshoe theory in action?

XippiX

Bah, let him try. Maybe he will learn thing or two. Positive things, for change.
