[Hypocrisy] my mom admitted she liked my dad for his hair and yet tells me i shouldnt worry about going bald

JFL. title says it all. we were talking during dinner and i said i have been having increasing hair loss.

she said i would find someone who loves me for me eventually anyway and its not important.

later i asked if looks are not important would you have dated dad if he was bald? and she just became silent and tried to play it off.... just lol

(Facade)
This deserves the hypocrisy tag

The truth hurts and mothers always want to avoid hurting their children

(Weirdcel)
My moms the opposite.. My mom admitted she liked my dad because he was handsome as fuck.. She always tells me looks are everything and to take care of myself/looksmaxx.

(imbored21)
When i was a teen my mom would talk to other moms. Once they were talking about their sons bringing girls over and having sex. My mom said she’d never have to worry about me doing that because im not the kind of guy girls like. Then she said she used to reject guys like me.

(Kointo)
At least she was honest.

(ghostcell)
just LOL......................................................... what the fuck

(RREEEEEEEEE)
You should talk to your mothER about that.

(imbored21)
Yep. She’s asian and hates asian men with a passion. She brags about rejecting them and reminds me that they are just like me.

(Weirdcel)
Your own parents putting you down is the worst kind of brutality there is. My dad used to make fun of me for being unmanly (running like a fag). That's fucked up my psyche for sure.

(CopeWithTheRope)
Should've slapped the shit outta here for such a bullshit lie.

(Cynistic)
JUST FKIN LOL
Even your mom shits on u.
toppest of keks.

There's plenty of women who love bald men. The fact that your worried about your mom's preference shows a deeper problem.

Cool story, bro.

PS:
My father was balding even when my parents first met. Evidently, he had sex at least twice, and it was indeed death that parted him from my mother far too soon (he was only 54).

What's 'kek' again?

"it was indeed death that parted him from my mother far too soon (he was only 54)."

I'm sorry to hear that, Pharaoh.

Skide

"toppest of keks."

Whatever a kek might be, a story about some abusive mother, visibly fake might I add, seems t be a top of it.

@Just Along For The Ride

'Kek' is Orcish for 'lol'.

(Long explanation: in World of Warcraft, the chat system replaces the other faction's messages with gibberish, and 'lol' happened to be replaced by 'kek'. Not sure if it was specifically for Orcs, or the Horde faction in general, but yeah. Further fueling the meme is the existence of a Turkish brand of prepackaged cupcakes coincidentally called Topkek.)

I guess that also explains where "cuck", "n*gger", "k*ke" and "Ku Klux Klan" come from, too...

@Anon

Having played both factions I can safely say kek is lol for all Horde factions. Had a Pandaran kek at my human hunter yesterday.

The game can be great or incredibly toxic depending upon where you hang out. I've seen guilds trying to spread everything from the message of MRAs to Incels to a Christian guild that kept trying to proselytize in trade chat.

Doubting Thomas

Your mom is just hoping she doesn't have to take care of you until she dies.

@#2145344

And that's why I tend to stay away from the "MM" part of MMORPGs. Never really played WoW myself, I just don't have the attention span to play enough to justify the monthly subscription. I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for about 2-3 years now, and I pretty much had no contact with the community in all that time. I've more or less treated it as a single player game (except when I get to team up with my mate, which her schedule rarely allows). I know I may be missing out, but I also avoid the drama, so I'd say it's worth it. In my (admittedly limited) experience, pretty much every online community out there these days is toxic. Bigoted conservatives, religious crazies, misogynist men, man-hating tumblr feminists, the whole lot of them just give me a headache, and I just don't feel like dealing with it anymore. I know this may not be the healthiest attitude, but as someone grappling with my own gender identity (in a heavily transphobic country, to boot) and a semi-serious drinking problem, I have enough on my hands without online BS.

Telly Savalas had hair.

Yet, he chose to be bald.

'Hair Loss'? Hasn't done Sir Patrick Stewart or Bruce Willis any harm, image-wise.

Women have various tastes. Someone else would be into bald guys. You should only worry about this if you want to fuck your own mother.

You should talk to your mothER about that.

Advicing to kill your mother for (allegedly) putting you down. Stay classy, incels.
