I still remember this :
Recently a strongly antiabortion Southern Baptist woman sat across from me in a counseling room and said, "I'm not like all those other women out there in your waiting room." She said that, unlike all our other patients, she had "no other choice."
The reason that her abortion was morally permissible? Because she and her lover were married, but (in the words of an old C&W standard) not to each other.
I still wonder whether she still would have seen herself as uniquely special had she known that among the \"other women\" on that day were a 15 year-old rape survivor, and a young single mother of two children whose cancer treatment could not be continued while she remained pregnant.
But it has been my experience that the answer very likely would have been "yes."

There really is a big abortion industry that operates 'abortion mills' - abortions-only facilities where the staff gets paid by the number of abortions.
So therefore, abortion mill employees DO promote promiscuity to increase the need for abortions.

So, if part of the market for abortions is pimps hiding their 'crimes,' then there must be fewer abortions per capita in Nevada, where it's not illegal, right?
No doubt there is a grain of truth in this. Surely some abusers have indeed taken their victims to an abortion clinic.
But I am sure there are far more women who go there trying to stop their abuser getting a hold over them.
And WorldGoneCrazy is an abuser himself. Albeit in a slightly different kind of way, but like any abuser it's all for his own gratification.

...but enough of the Repubican Party & their voters/supporters: certainly after Roy Less ensuring that what was the reddest of Red states turned Blue & now has a Democrat in the Senate, what about the fact that said Repubican Party - which you vote for, natch - has done less than fuck all about Roe vs. Wade: for 45 years, o Ice Cream Boy...?!
I highly doubt that rapists would stop if there was no abortion clinic nearby.
