Now I wish I had included my response to what Amos said:

Popsicles are often sold in packages of one flavor, and sometimes they have that thing where it's two popsicles with two sticks, joined together. Which, now that I think about it, actually sounds like a good analogy for a same-sex marriage. At the very least, you should try to come up with better analogies, since you're kinda shooting yourself in the foot with that one, I think.

Amos is the king of making arguments that "shoot himself in the foot", as I said. Like the one lately where he's going around posting the medal count for the Winter Olympics in the the Christian News Network story about openly gay US athletes, as if to say the reason that the US isn't top on the list is "God's will", because of openly gay athletes, I guess. The stupid part being that he lists all the countries ahead of the US, and they're pretty much all countries that are more liberal and more pro-LGBT.

Tofurky and grape-flavored popsicles are still useful and edible and therefore real food. Also; Neither are hurting you.

Don't like Tofurky? Don't eat it.

Don't like Same-Sex marriage? Don't have one.

It's not hard to comprehend.

No one's forcing you to get hot and jiggy with someone of the same sex or gender.

Someone existing while being different from you is not a threat to you, you goofus.

These idiots are literally The Borg, they want everyone to be a carbon-copy of themselves: Everyone must look the same....have the same hairstyles and fashion sense....like the same music....worship the Supreme Deity the same way....interpret their Scripture the same way....have sexual impulses that are the same....EVERYTHING THE FREAKIN' SAME!

It's not only oppression....IT'S BORING! If it were up to them, everything would be monochrome, spices and flavor wouldn't exist, vanilla would be the only ice cream flavor (but without the qualities that make vanilla so awesome)....

....And these jerks are SHOCKED, STUNNED, STUPEFIED, FLABBERGASTED, AGOG AND AGHAST that TONS OF PEOPLE DON'T FIND THEIR WORLDVIEW AS AWESOME!
