It has been getting out of hand from the beginning. Right when they started to put black people's lives on a pedestal and act like they're above everyone else like they're the most important people in the world and acting like they deserve something just because some black person was shot. Then it really got out of hand when they used this black lives matter bullshit as an excuse to destroy and pillage their own fucking town like a bunch of savage raiders. All because of some guy who 90% of the people involved don't even know. They only protest because it's a fellow brutha. When a black guy kills a white guy or even a family over a few thousand dollars/drugs/something stupid do you see anyone going out with signs like "white lives matter" and protesting and rioting all over? No. The only people that are affected are the friends and families of the victim(s).
The whole "BLM" shit is stupid and everyone involved are a bunch of idiots who don't even know what the fuck they're really protesting for. All they know is that some white guy killed a black guy and because of that it's racism all of a sudden. Who cares what the black guy did the cop shot him! The police are all corrupt! RIOT!! But whenever a black guy kills another black guy it's no fucking problem. Just another day in the neighborhood. Black lives don't matter in those situations right? That's why people say it's only racist if a white person is involved. White on black crime it's a international issue. Black on white crime, who the fuck cares? It's just another white guy, no biggie.
Also while on the subject people talk about stereotypes like how black people are always seen as criminals. Watch the news and tell me how many crimes were done by a black person versus a white person. Then come back and tell me that the stereotypes are unjustified and racist. Then you can wonder why cops are so on edge. Doesn't really justify their actions but as a human being can you really blame them for being scared and valuing their lives? Cops aren't emotionless drones. They want to go back home to their families too.

Hey you know how the Philadelphia Eagles won the Superbowl? And then an overwhelmingly white mob celebrated by starting a riot, flipping cars, breaking windows, looting, setting fires, climbing on top of hotel awnings, and for some weird fucking reason eating horse shit?
While the police did next to nothing quite oddly. Or at least it seems close enough to nothing when you compare how law enforcement tends to handle a more... colourful crowd. No hoses, no tear gas, no heavy handed crackdowns with riot shields and assault rifles. Not even when somebody jumped on top of a moving vehicle the police were driving. Not even when an officer got run over by a quad.
And who is even talking about it in comparison to black marchers standing around with signs? How does the entire scope of the conversation differ between NFL fans trashing their city and a riot in response to escalating police violence in random unconstitutional stops and absolute flippancy in the face of scrutiny or complaint NOT as so many dumb fucks like to say the shooting of a criminal? Because that makes top news for months on end with a relentless tone of menace and even after news outlets move on it makes the rounds in social media for years after getting referenced constantly as an imminent natural disaster about to crash on everyone's heads. But what about now? Who is calling the good folk in Philadelphia "savage raiders" or "thugs" or any flavour of criminal? Who is talking about the problem of "white violence" or "white crime" or "whites behaving badly" or "white" anything monolithic that it's fine to hold white people collectively responsible for and justify assumptions of hostile criminal intent in all future interactions with any white person for?
Why are "white" crime and "black" crime treated like two entirely different fucking things with different appropriate responses? Why is completely different police reactions and priorities acceptable? What the hell justifies assuming such an absolutely ridiculous increase in the level of threat someone might pose and why is use of force so much easier to justify in these cases than they would be otherwise? Why do all these presumptions and justifications only ever apply one way? Why are the consequences and condemnations nothing approaching equal in the aftermath? Why are lives held to utterly different standards of value?

People aren't mad about cops shooting equally armed members of organized crime. They are mad about murdered innocents, bystanders, mentally ill, confused or entirely petty offenders like jaywalkers, burned out taillights etc.. and that person is a racist moron.

And that's another thing: the difference in reporting. White kids get in a fight or get caught shoplifting the cops bring them to their parents to sort it out and generally keep shit on the DL as not to ruin somebody's future. If you're a couple shades too dark though you not only get booked on the spot you're probably going to end up in the local free papers at the very least. If you did something to make national news when you're not white it will be specifically mentioned and sometimes with even greater emphasis than what your crime was. Your picture won't leave the screen and everybody will know you are to be feared. Every minute detail relayed in the grave threatening tone of somebody about to tell the viewer you are standing right behind them and it's too late to run or even pray for their lives. Otherwise you and your crime will be referred to in a calm, matter of fact manner and a brief flash of your photo along with a general description before moving on to other news, returning to you periodically if nothing else interesting is happening. It's not explicitly stated that you are white but oddly enough it isn't actually assumed by the general public that you are. If you're not a criminal at all that same menacing tone is still there. Survive a disaster and you'll notice very pointed use of the word "looter" for some but "scavenger" for others based entirely on ethnicity. Reporting insane tales of rape and murder in shelters where no such thing has happened. Creating crime and danger and menace from thin fucking air to spice things up to the point where children in a lunch line are literally characterized as a pack of ravenous animals.
And then there's the opposite of the jacked up hyper-reporting. How many Amber Alerts do you see for missing white kids versus anyone else? Have you ever even heard of a nationwide search for a black or hispanic teen? Well the reporting absolutely does not match to the reality. Out of all the children that get reported missing every year in the United States the percentage that are black hover in the high 30% range and more than once went over 40%. That is staggeringly disproportionate to the population. Officially whites generally make up roughly 60% of missing persons cases (leaving suspiciously little room for other ethnicities such as east Asians) but if the rumors are to be believed you can cut that more or less in half if you're not counting the hispanic population as white. Hispanic kids are counted as white in law enforcement statistics but when it comes to getting law enforcement to get off their asses the result is pretty much the same. It's a fairly pronounced trend in Florida in particular. Episode of CSI:Miami piqued my interest and my outrage once I confirmed the reality of it and I hadn't forgotten about it since. The number of kids that would fit in at a Trump rally that go missing, the ones that actually get their faces on TV whose parents' tearful pleas are heard and answered with words of consolation are matched if not completely eclipsed by the kids you'll never hear about whose parents get more insults than sympathy at the police station and are almost universally written off as runaways, usually with the bare minimum of effort and paperwork. Sometimes not even that much. Numbers don't get much better for the adult population that goes missing though the excuses get much worse.
Actually, a whole LOT of black people have been killed by a whole LOT of white cops. And the reasons why are many and varied, but almost universally stupid.

Right. Because they know it very well could have been them themselves getting shot. It's not just because another (unarmed) black person got shot, it's because they themselves have likely been hassled by the police just because they match a profile (namely, having dark skin).

That's because we don't have an institution of black people constantly harassing and shooting unarmed white people. If we did, then maybe "white lives matter" would be a thing.

I live in a majority white area and most of the crimes here are committed by white people. Your stereotypes are racist, and a vicious cycle. Not hiring black people for jobs because of the mindset that they're all criminals means they'll likely have to turn to crime to survive.
