No doubt. It's crazy how big pharma is so pervasive in trying to shape public opinion online. Crazy you were downvoted for not wanting mercury in vaccines.

They are talking about thiomersal, a compound that contains mercury, which was important as a vacinne preservative. It had been phased out of use for most childhood vaccines for a while now. It was phased out due to toxicology tests showing negative side effects from a similar chemical, so they stopped using thiomersal for a while just in case. Later tests showed no negative side effects from it in the doses used, but by this time people were horrified that it might cause autism for no reason, and thus its use wasnt recontinued.

Not for no reason, but because of a fraudulent study which unfortunately picked up far more relevance than it should have even if it were legit, thanks to some paranoid, scaremongering celebrities who ran with it. I didn't say it was a good reason.

Fat lot of good it did keeping it banned anyway. Most of them forgot about thiomersal's supposed connection to autism and started associating all vaccines with autism.

The Reptilian Jew

Of course, your little cult is so special and important to the universe that Big Pharma, who apparently controls public image of medicine with ease, still needs a guy set specially to comb subreddits and downvote any revolutionary comment that you might make. Because that makes sense or something.

I'm not the only one who noticed the gigantic case of narcissism inherent in most conspiracy theories, right?
