I forgot to order bible tracts this year, so I may have to pick some up from the the Christian Bookstore. I attach them to the [Halloween] treats and when the kiddos come a-knockin, I hand them a treat and a tract :). For some reason, even when my lights are off the kiddos still knock on my door. It used to creep me out but I'm used to it now.

Yeah, proselytizing to little kids, fucking figures. I know serial killers with more class than you, Checkmate.
Well, she at least gives some candy out as well, probably out of fear of pissed off kiddos if she would just throw her toilet paper at them. Though something tells me these are not the good candies...
It creeps me out to think of you exporting stupidity and mythology, with a sugar bribe. Watch out; you would be offended if somebody tried to talk your kids into a different religion, and the parents of these poor kids who get your tracts may react similarly to you.
a treat and a tract :).
Oh, how witty. I bet you're proud of yourself. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.
And why are you ordering tracts? You should be writing them individually by hand. Don't you know what it means to witness? You're one of those lazy holiday christians. Laziness is another of the seven deadly sins.
Yeah, I'm sure those kids read those tracts. If their parents go through their bags before the kids are allowed to eat anything, the kids probably don't even see them.
Why are you even participating in and supporting such an anti-Christian holiday such as Halloween? Aren't you afraid of letting demons in when you open the door to the kids?
Why not just give them pennies wrapped in tin foil?
I'm shocked her house hasn't been egged.
I'm sure her tracts are thrown out as soon as the "kiddos" get home.
Halloween is supposed to be creepy: yet at the same time, like Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico, or Samhain in Ireland, Scotland & Isle of Man, a celebration of life .
Now we know that there's something creepier. And even sucks the life out of things far worse than any vampire ever could.
Checkmate, Lady.

That's what makes it so cool! To me; Death & Life are part of the same continuum and death is a transition to the next stage in life. I'm a spiritual pantheistic ShaktaPagan and death stuff is fascinating to me.
To honor and remember those who've crossed to the Other Side is something that is good to do.
Confused?
