Those players don't look like they're being forced into anything. If there were more prayer in schools there would be more unity and possibly less bullying.
Screw the atheists. Public or not, schools need to promote prayer. Prayer, not politics is why we kneel...pro-sports could learn a thing or two from this.

There was a lot more prayer in the schools far back in history when I was a kid. But there was still plenty of bullying. My grandchild was taught in school about bullying, and why it is wrong, and about respecting the feelings of others. Prayer never did get that part right.
"Screw the atheists" ...sounds like the promotion of bullying to me. Oh, you mean "don't bully me, but it's just fine if I am the bully"? Well, OK then, as long as we understand that you are not on the side of "respect others".
If there was more prayer in schools there would be less unity and more bullying as the atheists and agnostics would be seen to be different in areas where Christians predominate.

Oh, and bullying is a huge problem in Christian schools. The biggest bullies get away with it because they know how to pretend to be pious when adults are around, and teachers and administrators refuse to acknowledge that bullying happens among their students.

Not only do they need to promote prayer in schools, but the schools should provide the prayer mats and interrupt classes during the multiple prayer times during the day.
Oh, that's not the prayers you meant, is it? You mean Christian prayers, led by a Jehovah's Witness? Mormon? Presbyterian? Baptist? Catholic, since they're one of the few Christian sects that kneel?

Schools need to violate Matthew 6:5? I thought you wanted the Bible to be taught and everyone to obey it? Also I doubt you want prayers. Because that could mean a Muslim or Pagan or anyone who is not Christian or the wrong kind. And bullying seems to be less a problem now than when prayer was in school. But don't let facts from you violating Timothy 2:12 along with Matthew 6:5.
Also I as a Pagan SHOULD NOT FUCKING BE EXPLAINING THIS TO YOU. You should already know this as you seem to want to have everyone else live by it. The fact an unbeliever knows more about your own goddamned rules than you do is both sad and pathetic. You should be embarrassed.
IIRC the first Church/State Separation lawsuit was brought by Christians, wasn't it? either Catholics or Baptists complaining that the school was leading the students Baptist or Catholic prayers and they felt their religious freedom was being infringed.
So, forget about the atheists. WHICH prayer needs to be led in schools? Yours or someone else's? Should there be a rotation? Would you want them to stick to a schedule, so you know not to send your kids to school on Muslim Prayer day, or Liberal Christian day, or Mormon day?
What if you just pray at home and leave the schools out of this?
This kinda reads as if this Jennife Tempest person is saying religiosity in schools is actually an attempt at brainwashing kids into operating in a religiously motivated lockstep, except that it's not working, so more is needed.
