Quote# 132471

God planned you to be XX or XY at birth and you’ll stay that way till death. No amount of sex reassignment surgery or anything else can change your birth sex. Period.

Shepard Solus

Then he fucked up royally--AGAIN--because we have hundreds of thousands of people who are XXX, XXY, XYY, XXYY, XXXYY and so forth.

10/2/2017 1:06:53 PM

Thanks for your expert medical advice...er...you're not a doctor? Never mind. Will your god like you speaking for him?

10/2/2017 1:15:48 PM

Spoken like someone who knows absolutely nothing about genetics.

10/2/2017 1:22:42 PM

Then what about people with XXY chromo- Damn, Shepard Solus beat me to it.

Anyway, shows that you know less than nothing about what you are talking about.

10/2/2017 2:12:54 PM

So either (check one):

[ ] Your infallible 'God' fucked up. Thus he's not infallible, Therefore he's a contradiction to himself, ergo he doesn't exist.

[ ] Genetic shit happens and your 'God' doesn't exist.

Choose wisely.

I would like to add the option that he is both wrong about god and about genetics. Believe me, people like him would sooner become atheists than to admit that god is not like they believe him to be.

10/2/2017 3:12:35 PM

And yet I was born XXY, talk about perfection, dickmunch.

10/2/2017 3:52:25 PM

God is also omnipotent, omnipresent, loves his creation (unless they piss him off), and yet his love cannot extend to LBGT, women who have sex outside marriage, sex between a man and a woman that isn't for procreation or any position other than the missionary!

So he gives bone cancer to children, allows psychotics to commit genocide.

His myth is so contorted that he is just a myth, like the Greek and Roman gods. Like Odin and Thor, a tale you tell your grandchildren about the heroes of the past.

Can I express my deepest sympathies for the latest victims in Las Vegas...

I know this is going to piss of some contributors on here but Britain may have its problems, however thanks to our strict gun laws racists/terrorists/idiots do a lot less damage with a knife than a semi-automatic. London Bridge vs Las Vegas! Come on people, you don't need the second amendment! Making it easier for people to buy many guns is a recipe for disaster. Laws that worked in the eighteenth century may not work in the twenty first. Remember Britain had laws against witches up to the eighteenth century, doesn't mean they are right now.

America if you want a peaceful country it is time to ditch the second amendment, and you can because these are amendments.

10/2/2017 4:25:04 PM

Yes, the XXY people and others...why are fundies so clueless? I wish I could answer that.

10/2/2017 7:11:52 PM

A few seconds of research please.

10/2/2017 7:22:03 PM

And to respond in kind, I`ll give you Canadian gun laws, a perfect compromise! On one hand we can buy a single shot rifles easily here but with a gun like that you ain`t gonna commit a massacre, you need a lot of skill to operate one and just the reload times are gonna make it impossible to turn a single kill into a slaughter. These are mainly for self defense against wilf life, which is something to watch out for in rural areas. On the other even getting as much as a revolver means you need a good old permit with all the psych testing and such. To me at least it`s the ideal system.(the rifles can look scary to european folks and fuck knows I`m one but they won`t kill more people than a knife without the shooter being a highly efficient WWI vet).

How much chuck would an upchuck chuck if an upchuck could chuck up?

10/3/2017 2:11:45 AM

Doubting Thomas

No amount of sex reassignment surgery or anything else can change your birth sex.

Maybe not, but they've done a pretty good job to where you don't have to remain the gender you were born in.

10/3/2017 6:26:53 AM

I have transgender friends. If god planned them the way you said he fucked up big time. If not you are wrong and should shut up. While at it my friends are great people. I prefer their companionship to a religious fundie any day. On behalf of my transgender friends fuck off.

10/3/2017 10:18:48 AM

Except of course there are also:

X0 - Turner Syndrome where a female inherits only one X chromosome.
XXX - Triple X Syndrome where a female inherits an extra X chromosome.
XXY - Klinefelter Syndrome where a male inherits an extra X chromosome.
XYY - Jacobs Syndrome where a male inherits an extra Y chromosome.

This are all variations. It would be nice if biology was as clean and simple as fundies think it is. But it's not; it's messy and complicated.

Shepard Solus

EDIT: Scratch that. Brain died for a second, there.

10/3/2017 12:04:53 PM

God apparently planned for me to die when my pancreas stopped producing insulin. Funny thing, I was not forced to live by the dictates of my pancreas.

God also planned for me to die when I could no longer see approaching dangers or gauge distances. I hate bifocals, but at least I no longer live or die by the dictates of my body.

God's plan: a great deal of pain from gangrene when my gallbladder died. Not the only outcome, though.

Even if God dictated DNA, and if it were limited to your limited understanding, that's not much of a reason to limit a person's choices. It's not like we pay that much attention to the body as an arbiter of fate anywhere else...

10/3/2017 12:26:11 PM

I'll go with the option that genetic shit happens and God does exist out there somewhere.

10/3/2017 12:49:24 PM

Genotype!=fenotype, dimwit. AIS is a thing. Also, genetic makeup is determined at conception, not birth.

10/7/2017 1:44:50 AM

Then why the f**k did he make some XXY? Or some XY, but with the genitals of a woman?

No amount of hormones or nutritions can change your birth height either. That doesn't mean you can't grow taller later on.

10/7/2017 2:02:43 AM

So god made mistakes. And fucked up biology
