(This fundie is talking about gangstalking, which is a delusional belief that they are being stalked by people for reasons unknown.)

Dna and beliefs.

For those laughing, laugh all you want.

You know no idea the hell people like us have gone through.

You have no idea what its like when your own family is in on it. Do you know what its like to be followed around by strangers, mimicked, attempted to have been run off the road, etc. Basically having everything in your entire life to be sabotaged?

No, you don't know. Its a horrible thing when you have no true family left.

Don't worry OP, Jesus conquered and endured it, and so will we. Take it as an honor!

Do you know what its like to be followed around by strangers

I took a few minutes off work and went to the grocery store today. There were 10 people behind me in line at the chashiers. Eerie. It's a wonder I got out alive.

...and if Jesus spoke English, he'd speak it so much better than AC.

Paranoia isn't fun. From somebody who experiences it on a semi-regular basis, it is hell. This post makes me feel bad for Anonymous Coward as there is now a chance that he actually has some kind of crippling mental illness. Granted that doesn't excuse his bizarre beliefs and poor behavior, but he still gets a bit of sympathy from me for having to endure those issues.

I go into therapy and take medication which has done much to reduce my issues with paranoia. I suggest Anonymous Coward do the same.

You have no idea what its like when your own family is in on it.

The only thing your family is "in on" is, with any luck, getting you treatment for the mental illness you've clearly a victim of to fall for this sort of bullshit.

I know I've mentioned I saw a compilation video about this sort of thing before, and you don't even need to listen to the guy's narration explaining what the hell's actually going on to tell that the people that believe in this sort of thing are clearly off their rocker and need help. There was the one video in it I mentioned before about a woman claiming she got video proof of a guy admitting he gang-raped her, but it was just her muttering her accusations to herself from the other side of the room. There's another one where a woman just runs up to her fucking mailman and shouts at him to stop stalking her.

And that's not even getting into how fucking anything and everything is a "secret" sign that you're either a stalker or a "controller" who sends other stalkers out to do their thing. Color of your car? Red's a big sign especially, but really it doesn't matter, any color is a sign giving you away as a gangstalker. Instinctive motions and movements like scratching at an itch or crossing your arms in a crowd of strangers? Yep, that's another big "I'm a gangstalker" sign.

What scares me the most is that these people very well could flip out and kill themselves (or someone else) in a desperate attempt to get away from this legion of stalkers that only exist in their own minds.

It's clear AC's suffering from paranoid delusions and some serious professional help is called for. He also demonstrates one of the many dangers of religion: when the disorder is connected with a religious belief or exacerbated by it, the sufferer doesn't get the help they need because those who might help are held back by society's desire to not infringe on such beliefs. AC needs help but will never get it. Sad.

Laughing is fun; I want to do that a lot.

People like you? Deluded paranoid fundies?

Isn't your congregation supposed to be your true family? Jesus told you to leave your family behind and follow him, didn't he?

Jesus was paranoid too?

Paranoia paranoia everyone is trying to get me...

Lay off the drugs, man. People are not stalking you. If there are no drugs, perhaps you should look into taking some for your condition. I'm sure the nice psychiatrist can help.

Doubting Thomas

Go to the mental hospital. That's the last place they'd think to look for you.

You're right. We don't know what that's like. And neither do you.

"followed around by strangers"

People go places. It doesn't mean they are following you.

"mimicked"

Jerks randomly imitate strangers all the time, doesn't mean they are following you. It could also be coincidence.

"attempted to have been run off the road"

Or they were just bad drivers.

If there's a possible way of interpreting events that doesn't involve people being out to get you it's best to use that interpretation.
