Texas megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress, one of President Trump’s evangelical advisers who preached the morning of his inauguration, has released a statement saying the president has the moral authority to take out North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
“When it comes to how we should deal with evil doers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary — including war — to stop evil,” Jeffress said. “In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un.”

Yeah, what he needs is not your tyrant`s blessing, it`s the will of his people, which he most certainly does not posses on his side. Those nukes better not leave their silos or if this bastard`s alive by the end of it, his own citizens will make sure it`s not for long.
God dammit, don't give Trump any ideas. He already asked why we don't use our nuclear weapons.
It seems to me that the pastor here is just trying to use a weak-minded person to carry out an attack on what he perceives to be God's enemies.
If Trump nukes Pyongyang without NK striking first, there's a small but significant chance of it escalating to a nuclear war with China. No one wins.
Regardless of whether China retaliates, the US will immediately become a pariah nation, which will be economically devastating in the long run. This could possibly be mitigated somewhat by handing Trump over to the Chinese government or International Criminal Court ASAP. Which will not happen, because America just doesn't do that.
Yes, Trump has the moral authority to take out Kim Jong Un, and so do you or I. Kim's a scumbag and he's got it coming. (That is, assuming he's actually complicit in anything that's going on and isn't just wheeled out of his playroom to point and grin on cue).
What we do NOT have is the moral authority to start a major and possibly civilisation-ending war over it, which is what would be bound to happen if we tried (never mind succeeded).

Change the name, and now your pants are in a twist.
@DiarrheaMan
>Kim is doubling down on the Guam-strike thing now.
We could lose our favorite Fundie who lives there.
It's cool how God always approves of what dolts like this want. It's like the Israelites attacking other people and subjugating the survivors into slavery and taking their goods and land because it was actually God's idea. Justifying war because the Lord said it's good is a time honored Judeo-Christian tradition. And if you don't agree, you obviously don't understand absolute morality.

David J. Stewart?
"God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary..."
You are aware that Kim Jong Un is the ruler of North Korea, right? Therefore, by your bible, Yahweh must have chosen him and given him authority.
Baby Kim's rhetoric is aimed solely at his own population, ramping up an external threat to justify 'security' procedures and keep the military busy so that they don't wander into his bedroom/playpen and administer a 9mm sleeping pill.
The Orange shitgibbon is merely floundering out of his depth.
Confused?
