True; But when Trump tried his "Voter Fraud" scheme, most of the states told him to jump in the lake.
I understand the concern and am well-aware of it.
Keep in mind, also that a lot of people who could easily vote stayed home during the election....
* Many hated both candidates.
* Many assumed Hillary would win big time and figured "Why vote"....but many others were like that, too.
* Many non-Wingnuts and even Latinos and Women voted for Trump because they were willing to overlook his misbehavior, bought his "Art of the Deal" mythos wholesale, assumed he was a "Deep-cover Liberal" who espoused Progressive opinions in the past and didn't believe his W.S. bullpuckey. The pro-Trump Latinos assumed "Bad Hombres" meant "Bad Hombres" and not "All Hombres" (Boy were they wrong! Many 'Good Hombres/Mujeres' were deported).
* Some were chuckleheads who voted for Trump as a joke while other in the same vein voted for stupid things like a deceased zoo gorilla or fictional characters (Though I'd imagine that the mighty Harambe would be a far more competent POTUS).
However; Now that the nation knows that Trump is a big fake, mentally unstable and a total wingnut and that the GOP have been trying to destroy the ACA (which many Americans, even Conservatives, have grown to love, accept and depend upon)....among other insane things that would make even Pre-Christmas Ghost Scrooge blush....I'd say folks are bound to be calling for the GOP's heads!
The Progressives are working hard to fight voter suppression and have even successfully defeated various laws promoting voter suppression.
Finally; When the GOP behaves very badly, it tends to be followed by a big Democratic voting surge. Remember Bush Jr's two terms? Everyone went "Obama/Democratic Party" crazy, afterwards!
That said; I HOPE TO GODDE I'M RIGHT!
