(The more "educated" we become the farther we move away from God)

...I have no problem with this. In fact, it makes me rather proud of myself.
I mean, if god, of all things, is an anti-intellectual, then why the frigg would I want to be close to it?
Seriously, these people unwittingly make more arguments for our side than we possibly could. Good job!
Yup, the more "educated" you become, the farther away from the Bible you come.
Education as in being taught to vote republican, to shun universal healthcare, to despise people who are not like you, to be deluded into thinking the Earth is flat and/or the center of the universe...
@Malingspann
Everytime one of these are put up that's asked.
Poe's Law example'
You're never sure because a hundred churches and a thousand in the club are likely to think that's clever, worse, that shit's barked from the pulpits and Tea Party stages.
"Trumps is God's Candidate/Choice"
"Education ruining America say 60% of Republicans"

Wednesday, aka, Wodens Day.
Skydad what was a big proponent of being 'educated'
It took educated people to come up with a certain invention in 1916. In which case...:

...a certain deity is indeed moving farther away from the general direction of Earth .
Not just the above Challenger II Iron Chariots in Britain: M1 Abrams in America, Leclercs in France, Leopard IIs in Germany, Merkavas in Israel [/Iron y], T-90s in Russia, Type 99s in China & Pokpung Hos in North Korea make sure that, if he's educated, your 'God' will do the wise thing and fuck off: never to return.
It takes educated people to find that exploit in that word of your 'God', does it not...?! [/Judges 1:19]
Truer without the scare quotes.
A church sign I saw when I was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina
in the '60s said, "Dogs and sailors keep off the grass".
Maybe not "God", but most probably your own version of one, at least. There also are educated believers, but those are less likely to be in antiscience ideology like Young Earth Creationism and quackery like faith healing. The problem is ultrafundamentalists wanting exclusivity without actually being able to show why they would be right, while entertaining a grandiose conspiracy theory about everybody. And demonizing general education, for instance. If education makes people discover that your arguments don't stand, those arguments are what you should requestion.
Confused?
