1. Humans are serially monogamous. That means we pair bond with a specific mate and will stay faithful, barring statistical outliers. The question is always how long. The length of the relationship is highly variable and can range from a few weeks to a lifetime. Most western cultures only place value on one lifetime bond, therein causing a lot of the relationship problems we typically see.
2. There's nothing wrong with polyamory. So long as everyone is consenting, are adults, and play safe, it's no ones business.
3. Most people want to pair bond with people similar to themselves. Yes, some men and women are gold diggers but they're outliers. For example I like wit, education, glowing eyes, and a penchant for nerdy things. It feels like hypergamy to you because you want a supermodel for her looks without realizing that she's also a thinking, feeling human being with a lot of business savvy. She wants someone on her level, not a man baby to soothe all day long.
The average man has no trouble finding and keeping the average woman. Which is your problem?

Considering that significantly more than 20% of men are married and have children and that in every polygamous society I am aware of women are not intended to have any input whatsoever on who they marry that is some of the most rank bullshit I have ever read. Seriously, I smell something awful coming from my computer screen. What did you do? This shouldn't be possible.
You have the opposite stats for marriages in both your horseshit 20% statistic and the order of operations for your "hypergamy" shtick. The less a woman has to say in who she marries and the more she is treated as a commodity for sale the more likely it is her father sells her to the highest bidder or passes them off like a housewarming present to a friend. And when the richest people around literally have more cash than the other 99% combined then the what the fuck do you expect? In fact in other rants about women getting to say who they do and very pointedly do not sleep with you dumb misogynist fucks LOVE to claim women are only attracted to scummy low-class dirtbags and should only be in marriages arranged for them by their fathers. You know, the opposite of marrying up. Learn what the words you use actually mean.
What relationships do these lot base their opinions on? Because as far as I can tell, just as many men and women are getting together now as were 20 years ago.
