If the Atheist came form monkeys, Why are there still monkeys on earth? Why are human babies not born monkeys? Sometimes some stupid people act like animals but that boes not mean that humans come from animals. Once there were two monkeys setting at the edge of a forest, one money upon seeing some Darwinist walking across a field, said to the other monkey," Man may have descended, that stupid cuss, but for sure he did not descend from us."

Sigh. I'd like to think that in the alternate reality where Nintendo didn't translate "shinka" as "evolve", there would be a word in English which captures a distinct meaning of individual change-over-time, and therefore this humans-as-pokémon nonsense wouldn't even come up.

"By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Genesis 3:19. Ergo, the dirt will always be there!
If you came "form" your parents, why are there still parents?
Monkeys =/= apes
The important point here is common ancestor . We did not come from an animal living today, but we split in two different directions from a common ancestor a couple of million years ago.
Embryos of most mammals look very similar during the early stages of development.

If humans are not animals, what are we then? Fungi? Bacteria?
You are aware that all the points you've spewed have been debunked and laughed at innumerable times, right? Sometimes it's better to keep silent and let people think you're a fool, Jimbo, than speak up and remove all doubt.
All right, I know this deceased equine has been PRATT'ed and flogged, soundly and repeatedly, but I'll still bite:
"If the Atheist came form [sic] monkeys..." We didn't. Neither did any other human.
"....Why are there still monkeys on earth?" Because monkeys breed, the randy little buggers. And they evolved into their current form from [notice the difference?] the same common ancestor as the apes and the humans.
"Why are human babies not born monkeys?" Because humans are supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Or something.
"Sometimes some stupid people act like animals...." [reads Jim's post] Indeed.

Old argument, even older joke. Apparently Jim has never seen a human infant and the infant of another primate, or else he could compare for himself. He would find that the biggest difference would be facial features and hair.
How many fucking times does this question need to be answered. Look it up on the net, FFS, then shut up! Shut up, shut up, shuuuuut uuuup!
If you came from your great grandma, why do you have cousins?
That is what you are asking, basically.
Does this imbecile truly believe that he'll sway anyone to his side with this argument?
Man may have descended Jim, but you clearly have not. Finish evolving & get back to us.
If only there was a way to force these cretins to evolve.
@Pyro: I may have been unclear. In that reality, whatever word they translated "shinka" into would also have existed long before pokémon, so it might have. Then again, if there are fundies in other languages with distinct terms for personal evolution and species evolution who still make that error, then I'll concede that it's not just an artifact of linguistics.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
