It is absolutely legal to criticize anything you wish. You may be mocked and reviled fire doing so, but you won't be arrested for your speech. At least in the US.
And no one is forcing you to have sodomy, and if they do, they will be jailed for rape.

No one should be fined or jailed for publicly condemning Sodomy/transgenderism as a sin, and no one should be fined or jailed for refusing to serve Sodomy, be it churches or clerks or wedding businesses or bakeries, as in today's West. By legalizing the same-sex "marriage," the Western region made all moral people into trouble, though Western Sodomites only target the white conservative Christians (for now). The liberals leave the Jews and Muslims alone.

And no one is. Those cases where they are sued there is much more to the issue then simply not serving homosexuals. Kim Davis used her authority to prevent other workers from doing their job, not letting them issue marriage licenses if they wanted to. That was pushing her religion on others. The bakers I'm sure you are talking about, well they posted the private information of the couple on social media which lead to harassment and death threats. That is what they were sued for. Its easy to exclude that information to make your side look better. No one has been sued or jailed for simply refusing to serve a gay couple, there has always been more too it.

Nobody is stopping you from criticizing, and I'm willing to bet you've never spent a night in jail on the charge of being an insensitive and intolerant prig. You can criticize all you like, and in return we can criticize you. That's how it works.

But a business, a licensed, tax-paying, public-access business, is a different matter. The gay people in town pay taxes to fix your sidewalks and sewers and pay taxes to fix the road by which people drive to your shop. If you're open for business, you should be open for all business. You're not allowed to put up a "Whites only" sign any more. You shouldn't be allowed to refuse service to gays either. Of course, if you put up a "Straight people only" sign, then the rest of us would be free to read that as "bigot", and go somewhere else.

A church can refuse whoever or whatever it wants. That's because from a legal perspective the church is about as relevant as the groom's tux.

A county clerk, however, cannot. You knew, when you accepted the job, what the responsibilities were; to refuse those responsibilities is to breach your agreement with your employer. An analogy: if I own a car lot, and I think green cars are the most hideous thing ever (because they are), I can refuse to stock or sell them. However, if I'm hired as a salesman for someone else's lot, I can't refuse to sell the green cars because they're hideous; I was hired to sell all the cars. You were hired to give licenses to all valid couples seeking marriage.

So far, conservative Christian resistance to gay marriage in the US has been heavy, whereas conservative Jewish and Muslim resistance has been minimal. (The Muslims don't have the leverage whereas the Orthodox Jews, I think, mostly just assume all non-Orthodox-Jewish communities have something wrong with them and don't bother trying to fix us.) If and when that changes, I assure you, "liberals" are more than willing to give 'em both barrels, as it were.
