[OP of "Would an increase in violence or aggressiveness beyond "Black Bloc" tactics bring the US closer to or farther from a revolution?" - Original quote since deleted but available here]
I can think of a few possible tactics that could either galvanize resistance to Trump and accelerate the revolutionary timeline or could crush it (I'm a millennial who believes in climate science and I believe taking the US out is a matter of literal survival/self defense for me and millions like me):
-Abductions/hostage scenarios
-Attacking US embassies, consulates, and American owned businesses around the world
-Targeted assassinations
-Proclamation of alternate governments and calling for a derecognition of Washington and any countries that kiss its ring
-Arming black and native Americans to defend themselves with guns, bombs, knives, rockets, and WMD
-Organized hacking and theft
-Organized libel/smear campaigns
-Organized bullying of the children of conservatives
-Going after their families, Trump style, to teach them a lesson. To me, killing babies who are too young to feel pain is horrible but also cathartic and might be less bad than killing an adult or a child.
At this point, my capacity for sympathy is strained - too many Americans either didn't vote, didn't rise up, or voted wrong and I have to view the US government and its institutions as a vile tumor on the face of humanity and an existential threat to my existence. But I also fear that instead of leading to a successful revolution these could hurt our recruitment goals and could be seen as evil acts. What do you think?
