I've been on a couple news sites with one story but many comments on it and other stories mentioning how Trumps being idolized, like it's now like being the last sane guy in a cult in parts of the Bible Belt. They're saying it was a bit like that with W but now it's so much worse, Even if you can get these people to admit that Trump fucks up a lot, which few will, you're to shut up about it and follow.
So basically, without any reason, evidence of wrongdoing or even the remotest threat of disobedience, they really believe Trump should just be able to throw people into jail at a whim. And that they should be able to attack any opposing voice, that Trump supporters are the only free people in America and EVERYBODY else is second class at best.
Many have voiced this now, there's a cult happening here and it feel strong enough and justified to do anything for the glory of their leader.
