Those guys are a part of the traditional far-right (George Lincoln Rockwell, David Duke, biker and jail gangs, skinheads, Stormfront) which are the remnants of the failed American Fascist/NatSoc aligned movement.
The Alt-Right is composed of middle class people that find it valuable to engage in Western/White identity politics. The far-right is attempting to latch onto it now that it's become relevant and that's where the embarrassing shit associated with the Alt-Right usually comes from.
