I would give my right pinky to talk about "The Atheist Delusion" with both of these gentlemen.

There is undeniable scientific evidence for the existence of God. If you don't believe that, watch the award-winning film at www.FullyFreeFilms.com

As much as I love his show, how is exactly Stephen even an authorithy figure here?

2/17/2017 1:22:50 AM

Indicible

Sure, undeniable scientific evidence, like the shape of the banana, right?

We are never going to let him live that one down.

award-winning film

You know that the Golden Raspberry is NOT something do be proud of, right?

Thinking Allowed

Is Kirk Cameron invited to the debate so he can show his picture of a crocoduck?

To my knowledge, neither Gervais nor Colbert are scientists. They are not the ones you have to prove this "undeniable scientific evidence for the existence of God" to.

The Atheist Delusion" have won awards? I don't think "awards" like Rotten Tomatoes is something to brag about...

I can't say it better than this review by carol-95710 on IMDb:

"This movie is painful to watch. After viewing it I was left with the question, "Is Ray Comfort a stupid, uneducated man or is this his shtick?" So I checked his bio. A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE is trying to teach us about science !!!Trying to correct some of the worlds most educated, intelligent men. The experts he lines up and interviews appear to be equally unaware. He attempts to debunk evolution using some of the most ridiculous logic I've heard. The bit where he questions the young adults on the probability of a book writing itself must be aimed at elementary school kids. Rays confusion on DNA is the hallmark of an uneducated person, and is just embarrassing. The fake atheists he questions had me laughing at one point. This movie is just a big collection of fools."

Or, more succinctly by jhone-22977:

"To save money on a lobotomy, watch this film"

"I would give my right pinky to talk about "The Atheist Delusion" with both of these gentlemen. "

You'd give your right pinky to be destroyed? Like Ken Ham was?

Gotta love his shameless plug for his movie.

"There is undeniable scientific evidence for the existence of God."

Scientific Evidence (from The Dictionary of Ray Comfort): "Ray Comfort's religious beliefs."

I'll be honest, whenever Bananaman or Hambone talk about their products, all I can hear/read is "NOTICE MEEEEEEE!!!!"

Of course, I'll just look down and whisper "No".

Canadiest

Stephen Colbert is a full supporter of modern science and a huge fan and promoter of Neil Degrasse Tyson.
Gervais is a full on outspoken Atheist and Anti-Religion promoter.

Ray Comfort is a lying con-man.
Anyone even considering debating him needs to see the ABC Nightline debate he did years ago (still on You-Tube) so they can see his childish stunts and dishonest claims.

That 'debate' he links to is merely a segment of Colberts talk show.
And if they ever deemed to humor him the format would have to be theirs, Comfort insists upon editing to make it look like he wins. The Nightline show humiliated both him and Cameron, they thought they could pull the shit off in a real setting and were knocked back to appeals to their Holy Book (which they promised not to use in the debate, then did)

Doubting Thomas

What "undeniable scientific evidence?" If Christians had such a thing they'd be throwing it out there all the time. And your little propaganda videos aren't scientific evidence.

2/17/2017 5:51:52 AM

Churchy LaFemme

So why do you continue to keep this "undeniable scientific evidence" secret from the rest of us?

2/17/2017 6:03:32 AM

Raspberry

KingOfRhye

I was watching Colbert when Gervais was on. Gervais absolutely hit the damn nail on the head, talking about agnostic atheism.

Actually, I'd love to see both of them talk to Comfort too.

Nomen Nescio

don't lie, banana boy, you'd give your whole hand just to get to hear the sound of your own voice 24/7/365. and the arm, too, if you knew it was getting a platform on the mass media.

creativerealms

Colbert is a catholic right? Even with his act at making fun of the religious right he still believes in God. Of course as a catholic to Ray that makes him a false Christian.

Why not a certain Science Guy, Ray Cumfart?

Or too scared that, afterwards, you won't have an arse left to sit down on, after Bill Nye's finished with you...?!

2/17/2017 8:11:02 AM

Kanna

Not going to watch your damn movie. If there were "scientific evidence" for god, it would be front page news in every science journal in the world. It ain't, so there isn't.

2/17/2017 8:12:02 AM

Mister Spak

There is undeniable evidence for evolution. If you don't believe it, look at a banana.

2/17/2017 8:12:14 AM

I think I'd rather pass. Not because I don't enjoy a good debate, but because Gervais is a pompous ass.

2/17/2017 8:38:16 AM

@Moose

Ray might be scared Ham has used up all the butthurt cream and there will be none for him. Ham is still butthurt

2/17/2017 8:55:09 AM

Well how does Ray know that his god is the only one that exist at all?

2/17/2017 9:33:16 AM

Alencon

"There is undeniable scientific evidence for the existence of God."

You just keep telling yourself that Ray. Now on to more important things. New Zealand, this is your last fucking warning. Take this asshole back or we're going nuclear on you.

2/17/2017 2:54:18 PM

Old Viking

Ray must be talking about Bible science.

2/17/2017 4:06:17 PM

Shepard Solus

"Does the book not say, right there, 'Spiderman. Spiderman. Does whatever a spider can'?"

Anyone looking to laugh their ass off should look up "God Awful Movies - The Atheist Delusion". You can find it on YouTube. Their review of Vaxxed was another good one. I actually relistened to both just the other day.

@#2021154

And imagine the bitchfight between Hambone & Cumfart? 'He's MINE, you Attention Whore!' X3

@#2021150

Gervais is a pompous ass

"The Office". Cringeworthy doth not equate with funny, (P)Ricky.

And there's an extremely good reason why he died ten thousand deaths on the stage at the Princess Diana Memorial gig.
