I saw your post saying abortion will never be equal to hate crimes, and I am in no way trying to be disrespectful or angry or anything but in the U.S. alone 51 million babies have been aborted since 1973. The death toll from hate crimes in America, however, is only in the thousands. That's terrible too, but not nearly as big a number as abortion has pooled up.

"in the U.S. alone 51 million babies have been aborted since 1973"
Where do these people come up with those numbers?
And their insistence on "BABIES!" again reminds of the story about the guy who refused to accept that a 'hard drive' is a CPU tower component and insisted on calling CPU towers hard drives.
No. It might be that many tiny clumps of cells, but no, they're not babies. This isn't just idle hair-splitting, you know. In biblical days they didn't even name a child until well after birth, because of the expectation that so many of them wouldn't survive. I understand, you may sincerely believe that a zygote or a fetus is a person, but you'll have to admit that's a religious view only, and other people do not share that view.
@ all - 'babies' is just a name, obvious semantics and irrelevant to this post (and indeed to the entire abortion debate).
Hate crimes are about motivation, not outcome - abortion is not motivated by any sort of hatred of that class of humans we call the unborn, rather its the desire for the emancipation of women through control of fertility. Hate crimes are specifically motivated by hatred of the abused class - really, the difference couldn't be more obvious.
OK, let's assume that all 51 million aborted fetuses had been born. That means that, instead of the US population being slightly over 300 million, it would be over 350 million.
How much more would you be paying in welfare, education, housing and infrastructure to provide for those extra people?
How many adults wouldn't have the careers they have now because they had to leave college or couldn't go in the first place, because they were raising a child they weren't prepared for?
How many of those 51 million children would be in abusive homes, gangs, poverty or addicted to drugs trying to escape their lousy living situation?
"abortion will never be equal to hate crimes, and I am in no way trying to be disrespectful or angry or anything but"
...Scott Roeder.
Therefore the only but is yours: spanked .
The worst part of this crime is that the aborted babies weren't Saved. Which means they are all in Hell. The abortionists know that and they purposefully send these children to suffer for eternity.
In the name of the Lord,
Jerry
Hi Jerry, nice to know that you think my cousin's kids are both in Hell because one died inside her and the other was going to die because its brain was growing outside of its skull.
Your God is clearly an unjust one Jerry because He automatically sends not only the aborted to Hell but also the miscarried.
And when we get outside of the womb, He also sends babies who suffer cot death, who accidently choke on their milk and who can die in a myriad of ways to Hell. All because they were not old enough to believe in Jesus.
This is why you should be referred to as the walking atheist factory.
Warren: Babies isn't just semantics. There's a reason for words being so important - words, many times, are associated with certain ideas. It's the reason white people typically won't use the n-word to refer to black people - that word is associated with slavery and chains. Language in a civil society is a powerful tool.
Talk about aborting foetuses and most people won't care - people lose their appendixes and other body parts often enough. Talk about aborting babies, on the other hand, and you're thinking about one of, if not the, most defenceless, off-limits beings in a civilised society, any civilised society. Babies is used precisely because of the imagery present in our minds of babies, cute, defenceless infants, and then those infants are killed by an evil doctor (typically faceless, covered in a mask and goggles) by... I dunno, stabbing their skull, or whatever.
Language is important.
Hosea 13:16.
The worst part of this crime is that the aborted babies were murdered by your 'Lord'. Which means he is in Hell. The abortionists' 'Lord', including Jerky, know that and they purposefully allow - these retroactively aborted by school shootings - children to suffer for eternity. Otherwise, Jerky would realise that it wouldn't kill him to have his precious penis extensions/toys made illegal, because the lives of innocent children take infinitely greater priority than his so-called '2nd Amendment Right'.
No school shootings in the UK's entire history up to 1996.

School shootings in the Christian US since 1764.

Guns banned here in the UK since Dunblane. Thus Lucifer is the Saviour of British children. Question: Is kids not being shot to shit 'Satanic', Jerkoid...?! [/hyper-paradox]
Jerky's 'Christian Bible' Konami Code is cracked, and we know the 'Mystery' of such: Lucifer is the good guy in all of this, and Jerko's 'Lord' is the Evil One.
I refer you to the above chart. Facts don't lie.
A fetus is a "baby" the same way a two-year-old is a "senior citizen."
Words have conventional meanings. When you have to resort to abusing those to emotionally manipulate others, you've long lost the debate.
@Jerry
Please provide evidence for the existence of your god, devil, and heaven.
Remember: Quoting or referencing the 'Bible' doesn't count. The existence of the text 'The Lord of the Rings' does not establish the existence of Frodo. If one accepts the 'Bible' as establishing the actual existence of your god--if one accepts the mere existence of a book as supporting the validity of its contents-- one must accept the 'Bhagavad Gita' as evidence for the existence of Krishna and the 'Koran' as correction to your 'Bible'.
Thanks!
I'll take a cue from the gun nuts, who declare that if you don't know the difference between a clip and a magazine then you don't have any business talking about gun control:
Anytime anyone talks about aborted "babies", it's perfectly OK to declare that since they don't know the difference between an embryo and a baby, then they obviously aren't well informed enough on the topic of abortion to have an opinion that can be taken seriously.
Confused?
