"Then why, pray tell, do you keep talking to me?"
Entertainment value. To share my knowledge. Because you still have not admitted it.
"And I'm not even going to dignify that page Kuno threw up to discredit me with a direct confrontation."
Because it would expose you as a liar?
"Because they didn't, I figured it out after noticing that it screwed with my compass. "
Moths flying by as a photograph is taken show up as artefacts known as "rods". Therefore, all photographs are actually drawn by moths.
"Also, you should learn better grammar, pronouns like "they" should be lowercase unless they're at the beginning of a sentence."
It was deliberate. When I capitalise pronouns of the third person plural, I do so to refer to a vague, unspecified alledged conspiracy - in your case, the one that spread the "rumour" that the Earth is round and that build the "Compass Control Centers".
So electromagnetic devices messing with your compass (the magnetic field of the Earth can vary considerably and is actually relatively weak at the surface; however, since magnetism is only effective over short distances, it is usually still stronger than other background sources of magnetism. However, even a cheap magnet will overrule it over sufficiently short distances) and seeing something blurry in the telescope once, as a child, that you decided to be Russia (it may also be noted that there are many islands in the Bering Strait. Indeed, at one point, the maritime border between the US and Russia is between two islands that are just four kilometres apart, so, actually, seeing Russia from the USA is not technically impossible on a round earth) is "firsthand knowledge that a large part of the round-world consensus is false" and sufficient to throw out all human knowledge, while all highly intelligent critical thinkers somehow fail to notice/ignore the dissonance between model and reality?
Well, I have been to Roman ruins in both Germany and Turkey and saw no hints of the modern technology that you claim to have always existed. I read actual Latin texts - they exist (as opposed to your claim that we know next to nothing about the pre-Medieval world), and none of them mention modern technology. I am an ardent disciple of the Scientific Method, and it works very differently from the way you describe. You deride Darwinian Evolution (although I assume your "theories" would make Creationism look plausible by comparison), yet, as a student of Biology, I have personally seen more than overwhelming evidence thereof - indeed "nothing in biology makes sense except in the Light of Evolution", as Theodosius Dobzhansky put it. In school, I have replicated the experiments that lead to quantum physics, and calculated the formulas. I have witnessed differences in the length of day between Germany and Turkey, as predicted by the "Round Earth theory". I have an uncle who frequently travels to China. I know that navigation involves far more than just looking at compasses, and that there is no perfect way to project land and sea onto a flat map. I know the actual explanation for the phenomena you mentioned (those that are real, anyways) - explanations that do not require us to dismiss all other observations as all relevant scientists and technicians being incompetent. Even at the age of elevem, I knew more than you will know in your entire life, and my knowledge has only increased in the eleven years that have passed since - our scientific theories are not just fictions to make scientists look smart, they really make sense and are good descriptions and explanations of reality. I can say with absolute confidence that your worldview, whether it is fictional or not, is utterly wrong.
