Prophet Not Welcome in His Hometown

The Jacksonsville Jaquars are one of the worst teams in the NFL, racking up horrific records of 2-14, 4-12, and 3-13, in 2012, 2013, and 2014, respectively. Yet they have been adamant in not giving hometown hero Tim Tebow a chance to quarterback the club, despite how Tebow has been given opportunities by better teams and despite how he led the Denver Broncos to playoff success.

The Bible predicts this odd phenomenon in Matthew 13:57, Mark 6:4, and Luke 4:24. For example, Mark 6:4 quotes Jesus as stating:[4]

“A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household."

Tebow is not a strong quarterback, and he's too much of a distraction to the team. He may have gotten to the playoffs with the Broncos, but he couldn't repeat that same level of success with the Jets.

Worse, in spite of what he may have said earlier about doing what it takes to be a team member, Tebow doesn't want to play any other position than quarterback. He was given offers to play cornerback and such, but he refused to take them.

Another part of the problem is Tebow keeps wanting to do the type of plays he did in highschool and college - in the NFL. NFL teams are not like highschool teams where you may have one or two standouts in a team of students playing. Everyone in the NFL is really good, so it's important to have your team function together as one unit. The plays Tebow would like to run would be easily defeated by the defense coordinators of the opposing teams.

So basically what I'm saying is, Tebow isn't going to turn any team into a consecutive Super Bowl winning team. The Jaguars know that, and they're not that desperate for a quarterback. So they're not going to waste their time and money with Tebow.

Oh, I don't think he's actually gay for Tebow, Schlafly, years ago, came up with this stupid theory that Christians are better than everyone else at everything and after pretending no tech, math, literary, societal structure, moral or legal ideas came from anywhere else he decided to prove it through sports.

So he started years ago focusing on the Olympics and the events Americans dominated at, because they were Christians (He was caught on this several times as some of the medal winners weren't) and of course ignoring all the events that American didn't dominate or exaggerating that countries level of devote Christians.

To him, Tebow with his overboard displays of devotions just must be better DESPITE ALL FACTS. He, and the vast far right world, does the same with Ronald Reagan and G.W.Bush, they build up a fictional history to replace the actual one and feed it to the flock repeatedly.

There are thousands of football fans who deep down know Tebow wasn't a big deal and he's less now but due to their fundamentalist beliefs will proclaim him as the best football player ever. Reagan is the best president ever or W. The founding fathers are great so they must all be Christian. It's brainwashing, nothing but.

I refer you to the previously no-hope Manchester City now one of the 'Top 4' in the Premier League. Also Leicester City. All it would take is the right players for a potential UK-based NFL franchise.

Every single regular season game at Wembley has sold out in minutes of the announcement of such; the number of games there being extended to three last year. Roger Goodell has taken notice.

All it takes is having a decent team. Hull City had never made it to an FA Cup Final in it's existence, until 2014 vs. Arsenal. If a football team is good enough to make it to British football's ultimate competition...!

And should that come to pass, the London Jaguars would have played at their home games "God Save The Queen", so enjoy your paradox, Andy Schaftafly. And in more ways than one.

So much so, that later this year, one game - New York Jets vs. Los Angeles Rams, on 23rd October - will be held on the Hallowed Turf at the home of Rugby Union, Twickenham, no less.
