Quote# 113433

Let’s make sure we start asking brides what they intend to do after the wedding. The bible is clear- women should be “keepers of the home.” If the bride is career minded or dislikes housework, just tell her “no cake for you!” because you wouldn’t want to endorse a lifestyl

Insult to Rocks

Okay then. When you lose your job, and your home, in short order, the now homeless "keeper of the home" can place the blame squarely on you and your insistence on a single income.

What is sarcasm? We don't understand it, so you must be serious.

What?

Reads like sarcasm to me.

So do I understand this clearly? You would withhold food from a woman who wished to hold a job and contribute to the income of the household? I really hope you spelled that out for her in the marriage contract. Most women I know wouldn't stick around long enough to finish cooking that meal in the kitchen.

It's a joke article.

Read the whole post, for fuck's sake. It's obviously satire.

Christian baker reading this obviously satirical article (thinks): "If I were to refuse to bake cakes for weddings of divorcees, couples where the wife would be a working woman rather than a housewife, where the bride's not a virgin and whatnot, I'd experience an unacceptable income drop! So I'll just stick to playing the 'It's against my religious convictions!' card towards gay couples!"

Mister Spak

She wouldn't want to be married to you either.

Don't complain then if you can't live in a one income home then

Huh? Why are so many posts today borderline incoherent?

For anyone who does have this attitude, I'm sure there will be plenty of Duggar girls for them to choose from.

Let's ask grooms what they intend to do after the wedding too.
If they don't want to work for two, just tell them "no cake for you".

Lifestyl? I don't endorse that spelling.

Goomy pls

Why must people actually want this to be the case?!

Fine, I don't want some misogynist's cake! It's probably all gross like Ms. Havisham's cake!

I'll enjoy cake with a real man who respects me. It's nice and moist chocolate with black cherry filling and yummy whipped-cream frosting!

As Zsa Zsa Gabor once said;"Lots of people think I wouldn't be a good housekeeper. But I've been divorced five times and always managed to keep the house."
