That said, no blind person goes and brags and tells everyoen that he is so happy to be blind. He adapts to his condition and tries to lead as normal a life as possible. I dont like the promotion of gay lifestyles.

Great analogy! I get so tired of those blind guys trying to turn me blind.
And what is "promotion of gay lifestyles," anyway?
'Think you might be gay? Ever wanted to try it? Do you feel pleasurably uncomfortable when you make eye contact with that effeminate bookworm on the next block?
Then come on down to GayCon 2006, this weekend at the convention center! We'll have tons of literature, guest speakers, and a desert cart that's sinfully delicious. And remember, the first 200 men wearing pink shirts get in FREE!'
Considering the other senses all compensate for the loss of the primary sense and in fact, human beings are extraordinarily adaptible to their circumstances in general, leading to many human are actually happy or glad they are blind.
I really thought this was oging to be an analogy for atheists 'not seeing the truth' - hahahahaha. The turn this took was not only illogical, but bizarre and completely disturbing.
Well, having blind feelings is one thing, but having sex with other blind people that's an abomination.
Listen, asswipe, gay people *are* just trying to lead as normal a life as possible. It's people like you that are getting in the way.
I don't like the promotion of the Christian lifestyles.
As far as I know the only thing that can be even remotely seen as promoting homosexual behaviour are Gay Parades. So ban all Gay Parades and the problem is solved.
And while we are at it, we'll ban christmass, easter, valentine day, advent and several other demograpic specific activities.
"Well, I've heard people seriously argue that autism isn't a handicap, so why not have blind as a lifestyle? Brain should be an asset to their marketing?"
I happen to like my ability to hyperfocus and think in odd ways. The sensory issues kind of suck though and can go away now.
Like someone else said, it varies from person to person.
<<<That said, no blind person goes and brags and tells everyoen that he is so happy to be blind. He adapts to his condition and tries to lead as normal a life as possible.>>>
Quite true.
<<<I dont like the promotion of gay lifestyles.>>>
Whew, you had me worried! For a second there, I thought you were actually sane. That being said, what "promotion of gay lifestyles" are you referring to? You mean that some people are born gay and want to live normal lives without being told that they're horrible criminals because an ancient book of myths says so? Get a life.
Let me see, they demand braille signs, they demand sonoral signals, to let guide dogs in restaurants and premises, and demands respect. And they are happy to be blind as long as they are not considered sinners.
Are you sure blind people aren't happy to be blind? I wouldn't make that assumption. Maybe there's a strong blind culture similar to deaf culture? I don't know.
I'm sure that blind people aren't ashamed of being blind though. I bet most of them are damn proud of who they are. I wonder if they get pissed off when people like Brain treat them like a disability instead of a person?
Hmm I take it this one never heard about how militant some deaf people are.
But at any rate, you're a tard. Being gay isn't a handicap except for what people like you make of it.
What does blind people have to do with gay people? And how many gays are going around bragging and telling "everyoen" that they are so happy to be gay?
Realizing you are gay is probably a very hard thing to do, to a lot of gay people. They also adapt to their "condition" and try to lead as normal a life as possible.
If it wasn't for all bigots, it would be an easy thing to do, as the only thing that is different is the gender you are attracted to and fall in love with.
We are not promoting gay lifestyle, we are promoting tolerance, empathy, respect.
Confused?
