[god lets bad things happen, and you think that's good? You think that makes him loving?
You are a victim of Manchausen syndrome and Stockholm syndrome]
more like a victim of gods love by my own choice.
god let them be tested, and they failed. so thats gods fault, right?
im sure wars are gods fault too, right?
i think its good that god allows satan to do his evil work sometimes.
it shows us what were really made of.
god tests us yes, but he ALWAYS provides a way out.
its up to us to take that route.

"more like a victim of gods love by my own choice."
Victim . . . I like that.
"god let them be tested, and they failed. so thats gods fault, right?"
LET them? Don't you mean it tested them?
"im sure wars are gods fault too, right?"
Religion has been a major factor, if not the driving force behind, virtually every war. Look at the Jews and Muslims . . . thousands of years of killing over who has the best imaginary friend.

Mostly water.
"god tests us yes, but he ALWAYS provides a way out."
Yeah, that reminded me of Saw, too.
"its up to us to take that route."
Might I suggest barbituates and tequila, josh?
P.S. Try to use the 'shift' key once in a while!
God starts lots of wars. Read the OT, dumbass. Even the NT has sections about "girding" oneself with weapons.
This also strikes me as a blame the victim situation. God tests you, you screw up, we already know you're going to screw up because you're imperfect, but we're going to punish you for it anyway. The ultimate Masochism.
CousinTed hit it right on the head. Where's the way out in disasters? Hell, where's the way out for those poor suckers in the Twin Towers? Where's the way out for poor, starving people trapped in warzones in Africa and the Middle East? Where's your way out when I hunt you down and beat you to death for being so blindingly ignorant?
"more like a victim of gods love by my own choice."
Well, as long as we agree that you're a victim and we can put God's "love" in quotes.
"god let them be tested, and they failed. so thats gods fault, right?"
Indeed. If one is going to claim that God is omnipotent, omniscient and omni-benevolent, God *must* be at fault. He should have known they would fail, negating the need for a "test." He should have been powerful enough to stop any negative effects of such a "test." Plus, if he is all good, he should not let bad things happen to anyone.
"im sure wars are gods fault too, right?"
If he's all he's cracked up to be, yes. He should be able to solve problems in ways whih don't kill, main, and render destitute his special creation.
"i think its good that god allows satan to do his evil work sometimes."
Maybe God will bless you with cancer or a horrific car accident. We can only hope.
"it shows us what were really made of.

If God knows the hearts of all men, why does he need to "test" anyone?
"but he ALWAYS provides a way out.

What is the way out when the tsunami inundates one's village? When the mud flow from the volcano sweeps over your home? When your limbs have been blown off and you're bleeding out on some Iraqi street? Yes, there is always a way out... one can always just die.
<<more like a victim of gods love by my own choice.>>
If that is love, please do not get on his bad side. Oh well, the fact that god either doesn't give a shit or doesn't exist saves a lot of fearing and worrying. Just imagine the OT god actively intervening in this world. World population wouldn't exceed about 500 million. And people everywhere would look for ways to slay a god.
<<god let them be tested, and they failed. so thats gods fault, right?>>
As stated before, god supposedly knows the hearts of all men. Therefore testing is not needed. This is like throwing a brick out of the window to see if gravity is still there.
<<god tests us yes, but he ALWAYS provides a way out.>>
Reminds me of Se7en. You either live with shame or you die.
Omnipotence. Omniscience. Omnipresence.
But he "lets" them be tested, and wars aren't his fault.
Oh, but it's all because god loves you. What kind of idiot are you, josh?
I've always hated how so many people believe that if something good happens, it's because of god, and if something bad happens it's because god has a plan. Nothing like removing all personal accountability by believing in a higher power that removes all choice from the matter.
Right, so bad things are merely "tests" and "God's plan."
[don black sunglasses] Josh, the black car outside your window is not important. The many armed men outside your door are not important. You do not need to know what we are intending to do. Let's just say that God is about to "test" you. You may not call the police afterwards. God has a plan, and you will be in violation of that plan if you call the police. [doff black sunglasses]
Really, if bad things are tests and part of "God's plan," how come they try and call the police afterwards? How come they help each other? If a little old lady is getting mugged in a dark alley, why would they rush to her aid? Wouldn't that be interrupting God's plan or helping her cheat on her "test?" And then they have the nerve to say that ATHEISTS can't be moral WITHOUT a god!
"i think its good that god allows satan to do his evil work sometimes.

Sometimes? I thought god was a loving caring deity, that was all good; and satan was all evil? Are you saying that god does more evil then your prince of darkness, and he's still the good one?
[god let them be tested, and they failed. so thats gods fault, right?]
Why does god need to test us in the first place?
[im sure wars are gods fault too, right?]
He could help prevent them.
[i think its good that god allows satan to do his evil work sometimes.]
When Satan does something bad he's evil, but when god does something bad he's good? No wonder Satan hated god.
Confused?
