Quote# 111993

Slavery was the law of the land, it changed. Segregation was the law of the land, it changed. Prohibition was the law of the land, it changed. Didn't they teach you any US history in school? It seems not.

Humans have a complementary sexual biology. There is no such thing as a gay sexual biology. Gay men and women have a complementary sexual biology that they categorically reject. That rejection is as disordered as the bulimic's rejection of the nature of the digestive system. Would you advocate that bulimic's be sheltered from knowing about their disorder. You would consider such sheltering, loving? I think not.

Can you run us through the biological evidence of an immortal soul?

Slavery was the law of the land, it changed. Segregation was the law of the land, it changed. Prohibition was the law of the land, it changed. Didn't they teach you any US history in school? It seems not.

You started out so well.

Humans have a complementary sexual biology.

Yes they do.

There is no such thing as a gay sexual biology.

Bzzz. Yes, there is.

Gay men and women have a complementary sexual biology that they categorically reject.

We don't reject it so much as we're not wired that way. I've had sex with women, it just really didn't do anything for me. Do you reject homosexuality? Is that a temptation for you? In words you can understand - your God made us this way.

That rejection is as disordered...

And fuck you. It is not a disorder, it is a natural process. Again - goddidit, if you're so inclined.

...sheltered from knowing about their disorder.

And again - fuck you. Trust me, I know more about being gay than you do. If you're another fundy closet case, open those doors.

Slavery was the law of the land, it changed. Segregation was the law of the land, it changed. Prohibition was the law of the land, it changed.

And SSM being illegal was also the law of the land, it changed. Try to keep up.

Humans have a complementary sexual biology. There is no such thing as a gay sexual biology.

That would be an argument if only people who can and will procreate are allowed to marry. As there is no ban on infertile people marrying (or people who simply don’t want to have children), it has no place in the debate.

That rejection is as disordered as the bulimic's rejection of the nature of the digestive system. Would you advocate that bulimic's be sheltered from knowing about their disorder.

Bulimia harms people. As long as you cannot show how simply being homosexual harms people this argument, again, has no place in this debate.

Doubting Thomas

Bans on same sex marriage were the law of the land, it changed.

See how easy that is?

Mister Spak

And now homophobia has changed. Didn't they teach you any US history in school? It seems not.

Slavery was the law of the land, it changed. Segregation was the law of the land, it changed. Prohibition was the law of the land, it changed.

Yes, all these changes were steps towards giving people more rights and freedom, just like how recognizing same sex couples is allowing them more rights and freedom

"I don't understand it so others shouldn't do it" part 23874636476.

When slavery ended, that didn't apply to those who were not slaves and did not own slaves. When segregation ended, it didn't mandate that whites turn black and blacks turn white. When prohibition ended, the teetotalers were not forced to drink alcohol. Your arguments don't help your cause in any way.

Oh really? I have a few gay friends on Facebook. I'm sure I could ask and receive some answers from them as to how they get along despite you thinking they lack a sexual biology. Or do you think sex can only happen if it is for procreation?

Bulimics don't reject their digestive system. If they rejected it entirely, they would die of starvation. And whereas bulimia is harmful to the individual by definition, there is no modern, peer reviewed evidence that being gay is harmful to anyone other than squeamish prudes like you.

"Slavery was the law of the land, it changed. Segregation was the law of the land, it changed. Prohibition was the law of the land, it changed. Didn't they teach you any US history in school? It seems not."

And even Stevie Wonder can see that you were 'Hoemskuled'. Kitzmiller vs. Dover. That's the law of the land. NEXT!

"There is no such thing as a gay sexual biology"

Sir Elton John, David Furnish & their two sons. NEXT! II.

"Humans have a complementary sexual biology"

My cock & bollocks have never complimented me. Because they don't have lungs, trachea, larynx, epiglottis, lips, tongue & teeth to be able to do so, no matter how many times you watch the "Alien" films/look at the biomechanical artwork of HR Giger. NEXT! III, and you've struck out.

"There is no such thing as a gay sexual biology."

Then why is the male g-spot located by the back door? And why are the outerparts of a ladies... parts the most sensitive... parts?

Jeez, even before 6/26 the gays fucked, they just couldn't get married. You guys should be happy, at least, that they fought so hard for your silly little pointless ritual of excess and cake.

Are you saying that Slavery, Segregation & Prohibition were good?

If so, please jump into a giant trash-compactor!

"Slavery was the law of the land, it changed. Segregation was the law of the land, it changed. Prohibition was the law of the land, it changed. Didn't they teach you any US history in school? It seems not. "

All of those things were disbanded thanks to the efforts of those that saw they were wrong, intolerant and discriminatory, much like same-sex marriage has been legalised because public opinion has brought its necessity to the fore. You will, at some point, be viewed as backward and idiotic as those that fought to keep slavery.

"That rejection is as disordered as the bulimic's rejection of the nature of the digestive system. Would you advocate that bulimic's be sheltered from knowing about their disorder. You would consider such sheltering, loving? I think not."

Homosexuality is not a disorder; it is not physically harmful to be gay, people are completely functional when gay, it's not a detrimental.

You apparently did not learn biology

I don't think your first paragraph makes the point you think it does. Slavery and segregation were racist ideology that decided you were somehow inherently and infinitely "superior" to another person based solely on the color of your skin and that gave you the right to deny them rights. Prohibition was literally a bunch of fundies deciding they get to decide what the rest of the country can and cannot drink even in their own homes (with exceptions for religious uses, of course, because Protestants are apparently better than everyone else).

Gay sex is not more inherently harmful than straight sex - you can still get STDs if you don't protect yourself however you do it. And a homosexual person's love for another isn't any less valid than a straight person's love. This is basically the same thing as segregation, you don't like something about them and pretend your faith gives you the authority to decide they're "inferior". The most harmful things about being gay are the reactions it garners from bigots like you who try to deny them their rights and organize lynch mobs. It most certainly is not comparable to an eating disorder that in and of itself is harmful to the person who has it. Other than that there's therapy for both, I guess, but that doesn't really work either because therapy for bulimia is respected science that works, while "therapy" for gays is basically just abuse and neglect until they sing whatever tune you want them to sing and as soon as they get away from that and whoever threw them into it in the first place they'll go right on back to being who they are rather than pretending to be something else just to placate a bunch of bigoted assholes.

There is no such thing as a gay sexual biology.

We found the brain structures. That means that the gay sexual biology does exist, you just refuse to accept it.
