When that reminder comes bundled along with a free drag behind some redneck's pickup, a bloody beating with broken beer bottles or a cold, lonely death on a barbed wire fence in subzero weather at night, then no, they don't.
So kinda tell me now...since I could give two shits what Christianity and the bible say (Funny you divorce the two...could it be an unintentional admission to the fact that you're acting rather un-Christlike?) and nature is at least partially to attribute to this behavior (Otherwise it wouldn't be FOUND in nature,) just who are you to "remind" me where I can and cannot put my penis, and what it's use is...?
There have been many cases of homosexuality documented among 1,500 species of animals. As for your religion and your 2,000 year-old book of myths that contradicts itself and reality, no one cares. You lose.
"Defiance"? You can't "defy" a purpose. You can use a screwdriver to help open plastic packaging, which makes it sort of a non-standard usage. But it isn't "defying" its purpose, it's just expanding its sphere of utility.
