Every single one of the men, non-virgin women and male children was a sinner and every single one of the virgin girls was not a sinner? Seems unlikely.
And, as David pointed out, the bible claims over and over and over that *all* persons are sinners. Jesus claimed that committing the slightest sin is tantamount to committing all sins. Therefore, according to his chosen religion, Andy's sins are equal to the supposed sins of any one of those virgin girls. So, would it not please Andy's God to imprison Andy and have him become big Bubba's sex slave?

Just another case of one \"interpretation\" being superior to another. Andy figures we're \"interpreting\" the verses incorrectly. The problem is they're always being interpreted according to the current fundie mindset of the time, whether it's to justify slavery, child abuse, misogyny, or genocide.

According to Christians, everyone's a sinner, but you can be forgiven by God. How do we know that the Israelites were forgiven? Because they killed everyone else. As Savrin said, it makes sense to the one committing genocide.
