Someone doesn't understand informed consent. A corpse and a child cannot consent, an adult of the opposite sex can.

Ignoring the obvious slippery slope, if somebody says something that "sounds familiar" compared to something else that somebody else said, that doesn't make it automatically true or even relevant, dumbfuck.

Pleasure, you may be startled to know, is pretty popular with normal people. (Perhaps not with Anna Diehl and others of her ilk who act as if they'd sucked lemons for breakfast.) Some things are legal, and none of your business to criticize. Some things are against the law, for good reasons. And some things are against only archaic, religion-based laws, and we are trying to fix that. I've kept this explanation really, really simple, because I don't think you are ready for an advanced course.
Pedophiles and "zoos" don't tell us that they knew from very young ages that they were different, or that they felt out of place among other kids because of their sexual desires, the was gay people do. So, no, an aquired fetish does not have the same congenital component that orientation does.

I think most of them understand the concept very well but they've been conditioned to be terrified if their's isn't what Pastor Studley Hogg III of Turnip Creek Spiritual Dimensions Assembly say's it should be.
What? Since when does sexual orientation have something to do with consent? Isn't it just a set of visual/behavioral cues that one find attractive/sexually arousing?
I have to agree with the fundies on this one, "technically" most -philias should be considered sexual orientations. Now OF COURSE you can't actually let people actually live these orientations because they automatically imply a lack of informed consent, but in the end, yes, they are probably "born that way" and no therapy was ever successfull at "curing" pedophilia (aka, at least making the patient be into adults as well, not just kids).
And yes, there are pedophiles who actually want to be cured. The Berlin Charité even offers some kind of therapy, but as far as I know it's just "Tough luck, can't be changed. Let's just try to teach you to suppress it so that you don't actually go rape children"

Pastor Studley has repeated to them ad nauseam that sexuality, just like everything else in life, is a matter of God Permits (GP) vs God Forbids (GF).
GP contains penile-vaginal intercourse between the husband and wife of a one man, one woman marriage. That's it.
ALL other forms of sex is in GF. So if you have straight, consensual sex with a stranger you met in a bar, that's just as much doing something that's GF, or EVIL, as sexually abusing a child or a corpse or the corpse of a child!
Heterosexual sex is more often than not about pleasure, and if God doesn't like this maybe it should have thought twice when trying to test its subjects by making it enjoyable. God preempts carnal desires, but when humans take the bait it is enraged, purely because of its aversion to fun.

I actually don’t have that much of a problem with necrophilia (scare cord). Is it disgusting? Sure. Is it horrifying? Certainly. However, it’s not hurting anyone, so I don’t think it’s bad.*

Necrophiles and pedophiles are probably born that way - talk all you want about how molestation is a crime of power and opportunity, but I don't know why anyone would look at child porn or violate a corpse in the first place if they weren't into that stuff.
They're illegal because they hurt living children or because the dead have relatives who'd be appalled by the act of desecration. Not because they aren't "born that way".
Gay couples, on the other hand, aren't hurting anyone. There's no reason to deny them equal rights except "god said so".
